Beatriz L., appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear the story behind how you got your first job in field that you currently practice in.
It was during Covid and helping college students that had left everything behind in their dorms. Working with a big relocation company and this experience opened my eyes to all new possibilities and how I became a senior and specialty move manager specialist in life transitions.
Beatriz L., before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Beatriz is a Lifestyle Manager, Transformational Organizing specialist, and Feng Shui Consultant with 20+ years of experience creating environments that integrate functionality, aesthetics, and purpose. A New York–based Certified Professional Organizer and member of NAPO and NASMM, IFSG Beatriz combines technical rigor with sensitivity to guide transitions with ease.
We offer services from professional organizing, to aging in place, downsizing, Feng Shui space analysis, and productivity consulting.
Beatriz is also a family constellation facilitator and reiki practitioner. All part of her method when working with her clients.
Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
Yes,
One of the reasons I am so eager to become a leader in my field is because I know how it can change lives and bring wellness.
Many people have the wrong concept of what professional organizing is and are not aware of how vast this field actually is. For example, a professional organizer can be specialized in senior move management (like me), while others are daily money management and paper solutions, some only help school aged students, downsizing and so on.
And a detail, we are always working together and collaborating to make sure our clients get what they need.
