We were lucky to catch up with Be Hunter recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Be thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?

I’ve always been led by the vision.
The vision is why i am able to do
what i do, and be how i be…

— wow, it’s all been super fast…
To walk u all thru it might take a century (ha).

however— I’m certain it took a world of patience, I’m certain It took a world of uncertainty, I’m certain It took every ounce of faith the kid had,
and I’m certain it took be going above & beyond
all the fear people around me were attempting to cast upon my spirit.

—- As far as the process, there is no speeding it up… it just happens when it happens, and you’re either ready or you’re not,
but either way that leap of faith has to be felt and the work has to be done!

I’ve definitely always known in my gut I’d be this being i am today, constantly defying the odds!

at some point u just start reflecting and realize that’s all that’s going on…

Be , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Mama named me Brandon,
i am the brand
and I’m promoting mental health

u see when spirit said Be , I answered…

Ok let’s see here — I’m a native of one of the most beautiful places in the world (Tennessee).
My spirit is that of a River

My story is one of redemption —
faced with adversity and being misunderstood i had to learn to
Pivot; I had to learn to slow down…

I’d say my life kinda came to me,
in the midst of being—-
and when it came it just made sense.

— i have a bachelors in business management/ administration and
a minor in marketing , most people don’t know that.

I’d say—
the discipline started with basketball,
and that was life for a long time, but after graduating college I begin to transition into a state of mind where I refused to be another “statistic”— I had an opportunity to go over seas and continue playing ball, but instead I chose to return back to the nest where it begin and unlearn.

being became my business, living became
my discipline… healing became my craft.

I’d say my daily efforts towards being progressive set be apart—
I built a foundation based in
pure will , and with that determination I begin to come into the power —- and that gift is what some know as @beshootin

I want people to know picking the camera up didn’t just inspire be, it saved my life…

It helped me see life the way I saw it..
it helped me walk thru doors id prolly never walk thru, it helped me get thru a lot of days with my head up high…
if not for the vision , I wouldn’t be here.

I’m most proud of my enlightenment, coming from where I come from, there’s not many full-time artist / creatives, and that’s just the reality… there’s still so much unfolding—

Here in a minute imma make em’ tap all the way in with it, til then just know I’m somewhere working on the Future..
I got people counting on be! .

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

healing the mental—-
That is the AiM (art in motion)
So that the mind can just exist…

I’m letting my creativity carry me into the infinite!
focused, knowing that is what drives my inner being

@ the root of it all I’m grateful to be deep in the artistic realms —
I’ve come to realize that being creative is the journey… it is our identity

I’ll continue to find ways to be more innovative as I continue creating the space to live life how I desire to.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

To feel @ peace — knowing I’m on earth being, made in the image of the most high

— to know I’m going to be able to pass this
Lifestyle / discipline
forward to my village

— feels good knowing I took that leap of faith and i never looked back,
I can only hope that my courage impacts those around be!

i get to wake up and just be , a lot people didn’t believe it was possible, but i did,
Love DID!

I’ve always desired in my heart to be free in my being
— that is most rewarding

For sure.

I’m super excited to continue inward.
knowing there’s so much more to be revealed.
