Well, it all started with my passion for beauty, particularly skincare and aesthetics. I had been working as a marketing director for almost two decades and found that creating a beauty blog was an excellent way to relieve stress. To my surprise, the blog gained traction, and people began to take an interest in what I had to say.
Drawing from my years of experience as a marketing director for an international business with nine locations, I applied my skills and knowledge to Barbie’s Beauty Bits, my award-winning beauty blog. I created conversational, engaging, and educational articles that resonated with my audience.
Being a skilled and innovative content writer has led to numerous accolades, including being featured on ABC, NBC, CBS, C-Suite Prime Time TV, Vogue, ROKU, Google TV, ROKU, Apple TV, Entrepreneur, and Allure. I was even awarded Beauty Influencer of the Year – The USA.
Eventually, I realized that my passion for marketing, SEO, and content writing could be redirected toward my own business in the beauty industry.
Today, I am a successful entrepreneur, content marketing strategist, influencer manager, and beauty editor. I offer a wide range of services, including digital marketing, content writing, social media, branding, blogging, influencer outreach, email marketing, media buying, and management.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Well, I have had quite a journey myself! I remember growing up, many people dismissed my passion for the beauty industry, thinking I wanted to work at retail counter selling makeup or hair stylist. However, I knew I wanted something bigger – my own business in New York City.
Although I pursued a marketing career and never moved to NY City, my passion for beauty never faded. One day, after a particularly stressful day at work, a friend suggested that I try writing as a way to relieve stress.
So, I started writing about DIY beauty tips, which I called “Pantry To Pretties”. To my surprise, people started reading my blog and following me on social media. Despite naysayers telling me to keep my day job, I was inspired by a quote I heard: “If you always do, what you always did, you always get what you always got.”
So, I made my blog my side gig and applied all of the knowledge and experience I had in marketing to myself. Eventually, I was able to quit my day job and start not only writing content for myself at Barbie’s Beauty Bits, but also for others, as well as handling their online marketing through my marketing agency side.
Throughout my journey, I learned the importance of communication, dedication, and never giving up. Now, I am successful in doing what I love and not letting anyone dull my sparkle.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
They say the little things in life can make the most significant difference.
The same is true in business. In my experience within the beauty market, paying close attention to detail and utilizing effective communication strategies have been crucial in building my reputation.
The expression, do what you say, and say what you mean has been lost in this generation of work ethic. But not with me. My clients appreciate my attention to detail and follow-through.
I have significantly won my clients over by streamlining my workloads and timelines. My proficiency in enhancing brand aesthetics has enabled me to engage, educate, and entertain customers through my expert beauty advice, ultimately bolstering their satisfaction and unwavering loyalty.
Simply put, I tell my client their expertise is in making their clients & customers look beautiful, and my expertise is in making your brand look beautiful.
