Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bao Vy Ngo. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Bao Vy, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
When my husband and I planned our own Vietnamese traditional wedding, we quickly realized how challenging it was to find the right resources, guidance, and vendors who truly understood and respected the cultural nuances we wanted to honor. In the Vietnamese community, there was such a lack of professionals offering support for couples like us — people who wanted to seamlessly blend cultural traditions with a modern, elegant vision.
We ended up doing everything ourselves — from researching customs, coordinating vendors, designing the look and feel of the day, and managing the details — just to bring our dream wedding to life. While we were proud of what we created, the process was overwhelming and exhausting at times.
That experience planted the seed for Bella Faire Wedding Collective. I started this company because I don’t want other couples, especially those in underrepresented cultural communities, to feel like they have to sacrifice their vision or navigate it all alone. My mission is to provide couples with expert guidance, creative direction, and heartfelt support, so they can truly enjoy the process and feel seen, heard, and celebrated on their special day.
At its heart, Bella Faire is about more than just beautiful weddings — it’s about empowering couples to embrace their unique story and heritage, while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Bao Vy, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Bao Vy Ngo, and I’m the founder and creative director of Bella Faire Wedding Collective. I’ve always been drawn to the beauty and emotion of weddings — the way one single day can bring together a lifetime of love stories, family traditions, and joyful memories. But my journey into this industry truly began when my husband and I planned our own Vietnamese traditional wedding.
What should have been an exciting, joyful planning process quickly became stressful when we realized how few resources, professionals, and guides existed in our community to help us plan a wedding that honored our heritage while still feeling modern and personal. We spent countless hours researching, designing, and coordinating everything ourselves just to make our vision come to life. While we loved the result, it was clear to me that there was a gap in the wedding industry — especially for multicultural couples and those who want to weave meaningful traditions into a beautifully designed, cohesive wedding experience.
That’s why I created Bella Faire Wedding Collective: to provide couples with the guidance, expertise, and creativity that I wished I had during my own planning journey.
We specialize in wedding planning, design, and day-of coordination services, tailored to each couple’s unique story. We’re especially passionate about serving multicultural, underrepresented, and heritage-rich weddings — because every couple deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Whether you’re dreaming of a fully traditional wedding, a modern celebration with cultural touches, or something completely unique, we help you bring your vision to life with intention and ease.
What sets Bella Faire apart is our ability to truly listen and translate each couple’s personality and story into a one-of-a-kind experience. We bring a balance of timeless elegance and creative flair, and our calm, detail-oriented approach ensures that you can actually enjoy your engagement and wedding day, knowing everything is in expert hands.
What I’m most proud of is seeing my couples light up when they see their dreams brought to life — and hearing them say, “We couldn’t have done this without you.”
For anyone considering working with Bella Faire, I want you to know that your love story, your culture, and your joy matter here. We’re here to take care of the logistics, craft a beautiful design, and advocate for your vision every step of the way — so you can simply be present and soak in one of the happiest days of your life.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I believe what helped me build my reputation within this market is staying true to my mission of serving with heart, creativity, and cultural sensitivity. From the very beginning, I focused on truly listening to my clients — understanding not just what they want their wedding to look like, but what it means to them, their families, and their story. That ability to connect on a personal level and advocate for their vision really resonates with the couples I serve, especially in multicultural communities where those needs are often overlooked.
I also built my reputation by being consistent: delivering exceptional service, staying organized and calm under pressure, and treating every wedding — no matter how big or small — as if it were my own. Word of mouth has been powerful, because couples and families remember how I made them feel supported and cared for during what can be a stressful process.
Lastly, I think my creative eye and my ability to design weddings that feel elegant, cohesive, and personal have helped me stand out. People come to me not just because they want help planning, but because they trust me to craft a vision and bring it to life beautifully.
In short, my reputation was built on a foundation of authentic relationships, reliability, and a deep respect for every couple’s unique story. That’s something I continue to nurture with every client I serve.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
When I first started Bella Faire Wedding Collective, I honestly had no idea how to “build an audience” on social media — but I knew I wanted to share my work and connect with couples who resonated with my mission. I started by simply showing up authentically: posting behind-the-scenes moments from weddings, sharing my design boards and inspirations, and talking about what it felt like to plan my own Vietnamese wedding.
What really helped me grow was focusing less on follower count and more on building relationships. I engaged with other vendors, commented on posts from couples and creators I admired, and shared tips and insights that I wished someone had given me when I was planning. Over time, my posts started reaching the right people — because they could see my passion and my expertise.
Consistency was also key — even if it wasn’t perfect. Some weeks I only had time to post once or twice, but I kept showing up and staying true to my brand’s voice: warm, elegant, and thoughtful. I also leaned into storytelling, rather than just posting pretty pictures — because people connect with stories and emotions.
