Being successful can mean different things to different people, as it is subjective and depends on individual goals and aspirations. However, there are certain common factors that contribute to my success in various areas of my life.

Clear goals: Set specific, realistic, and achievable goals. Having a clear direction and purpose provides focus and motivation.

Passion and perseverance: Pursue something you are passionate about, as it increases your dedication and resilience. Success often requires hard work, determination, and the ability to overcome obstacles and failures.

As a women’s figure competitor, an avid fashion consumer and jewelry connoisseur, I noticed that the market was lacking reasonably priced high quality pieces to compliment her figure suit.

On many of my shopping adventures, I started to notice a huge gap in this market; I either found beautiful earrings (designer brand names) made with cheap and low quality materials or precious jewelry that cost a lot of money. There was nothing in between. This was very disappointing. As a consumer that has always chosen quality over quantity, I found myself without options.

So, I thought to myself: “Somebody should do better than this; maybe I might be able to offer a better, and why not, prettier option for female competitors ….. they are missing out on quality competition jewelry that should last and won’t break the bank.” With that in mind, I found that void in the market and decided to offer a variety of affordable fashionable competition bling. Also, not wanting to be status quo, I thought it would be different to incorporate a pop of color into all the jewelry that Body Bling gems has to offer. I work closely with many high end suit companies to collaborate and bring a different variety of style to the Body Bling collection. Body Bling has the most unusual and one of a kind pieces.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I had to take a strategic approach and put in consistent effort.

I defined my target audience, clearly identifying the demographic and interests of the audience I wanted to reach. Once I understood my target audience, I tailored my content and engagement strategies to attract the right people.

From there, I created professional and visually appealing profiles across my chosen social media platforms. Use high-quality profile pictures, engaging cover photos, and include a clear and concise bio that highlights what Body Bling offers and the value I provide to my audience.

Also maintaining consistent branding across all my social media profiles. Using consistent colors, fonts, and visual elements to create a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.

I developed valuable and relevant content that resonates with my target audience. Share informative posts, entertaining videos, and engaging visuals. Using a mix of formats and experiment with different types of content to keep my audience engaged.

Importantly, utilizing hashtags and keywords in my posts to increase discoverability. I researched popular and trending hashtags that aligned with my content and industry. Additionally, optimizing my profile and content with keywords to improve search visibility.

I was actively engaging with my audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Showing genuine interest in my audience’s opinions and feedback.

I collaborate with influencers who have a similar target audience as mine. Their endorsement helped expand my reach and introduced my brand to new followers.

Making sure I leverage other marketing channels to promote my social media profiles. Adding social media buttons and links to my website land other communication channels. Encouraging my existing followers and customers to follow me on social media.

Building an audience on social media takes time and consistent effort. I had to focus on providing value, engaging with my audience, and adapting strategies based on insights and feedback. Always remember to stay genuine, authentic, and responsive to foster a strong and loyal following.

Developing deep expertise and knowledge in my field. Continuously educateing myself, staying updated with industry trends, and be at the forefront of new fashion. I positioned myself as a reliable and trusted source of information.
