Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bailey Weaver. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Bailey , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
At the age of 8, while seated in my living room watching an episode of Hannah Montana, I was struck with a profound desire to create the joy and emotion that my favorite movies and shows evoked within me. This ignited a fervent aspiration to evoke similar feelings in others. Shortly thereafter, I secured the role of “Ashley” in the film “The Wind is Watching” (2012). Despite initial nerves surrounding my debut in an independent feature, the warmth and support extended by Conrad Studios and the cast swiftly eased my apprehensions. Falling in love with the entirety of the filmmaking process—from auditions to script readings, and ultimately embodying a new character—solidified my passion for the craft.

Bailey , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
As a 21-year-old actress from Akron, Ohio, my cinematic journey commenced with a notable role in the independent feature film “The Wind is Watching” back in 2012. Since then, I’ve secured multiple roles in Conrad Studio productions, including prominent works such as “Slasherverse,” “Revamp,” and award-winning films like “The Seer” and “Headcase.” Among my proudest moments was earning a Best Supporting Performance nomination for my role in “The Seer” at The Pittsburgh 48, an experience that highlighted the significant value of collaboration with exceptional cast and crew members while witnessing a plethora of remarkable cinematic endeavors.
Beyond my acting pursuits, I’ve nurtured another lifelong passion: cheerleading, a journey that commenced at the young age of 3 and continues to flourish as I pursue my education at Bowling Green State University. Balancing both my acting and cheerleading commitments, I’m concurrently advancing my knowledge in business and marketing, recognizing the indispensable role of these disciplines in my multifaceted career trajectory.
Fueled by a profound affection for social media and content creation, I’m driven to expand my understanding of branding and marketing strategies. Whether it involves spearheading social media campaigns for organizations or collaborating with diverse brands to elevate their products, I eagerly embrace opportunities to immerse myself in the dynamic realm of brand promotion and digital engagement.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
At the age of 12, I was on the brink of relocating to California with my family to pursue opportunities in the acting industry. However, circumstances took an unexpected turn when my parents decided to separate, anchoring me in Ohio. This period marked a significant challenge as I grappled with the complexities of familial changes while shouldering increased responsibilities at home, particularly in caring for my younger siblings. Temporarily setting aside my aspirations, I immersed myself in domestic duties.
Despite this hiatus, my passion for acting remained steadfast. In my later teenage years, I fortuitously encountered support from Conrad Studios, reigniting my pursuit of a career in entertainment. Through unwavering dedication and resilience, I navigated through adversity, never losing sight of my dream.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
As a collegiate cheerleader, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to participate in the UCA National College Championship for cheerleading held annually in January. During the 2023-2024 season, I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to earning a place in the Bowling Green State University All Girl Traditional routine. Alongside my teammates, I invested countless hours mastering new skills and meticulously crafting our routine.
As the fall semester drew to a close, we intensified our preparations with rigorous two-a-day practices spanning from 9am to 5pm. Despite encountering a setback two weeks prior to the competition with a broken finger, I remained resolute in my commitment. Rather than allowing this obstacle to deter me, I took proactive measures, taping my hand and demonstrating my capability to continue competing. My determination prevailed, enabling me to set aside my injury and deliver a memorable performance at nationals, an experience I cherish deeply.
