We recently connected with Azsah Rescili and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Azsah, thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

My mission essentially is to make Vedic Astrology a normal and reliable source of guidance and clarity in people’s lives. I hope to provide insight to as many people as possible through the ancient techniques of the Vedas. I aim to provide real answers to life’s big challenges and questions through the means of examining one’s birth chart or as I like to call it, “divine blueprint.” Through utilizing techniques passed down to me from my gurus (teachers) and a well-nurtured intuition, I can offer real solutions to the largest questions in life: love, career, one’s soul purpose, and much more. So many people are spiritually out of touch with themselves and looking for guidance and just don’t know where to start. I hope to be a stepping stone towards their journey of self-realization. Vedic astrology has greatly enriched my own life and those around me. I can only hope to lead others down that same path as well.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I first became introduced to Vedic Astrology during the Covid spike in 2020. It was a strange and pivotal time for all of society, I think. During this time of isolation, I was pregnant with my first child and dealing with some real difficulties in my personal life and relationship. I began searching for some form of spiritual practice and belief that resonated with me. I recall as a young girl always being fascinated with Astrology. So I thought “Why not start there?” I first came across Western Astrology, of course, which in my personal opinion lacked the depth I was looking for. With a lot of research and time, I finally came across Vedic Astrology and was overwhelmed by its spiritual depth and plethora of ancient techniques and knowledge. But it was so foreign to me that I didn’t know where to begin so I started by first reading Indian blogs and eventually I came to find my guru Kapiel Raaj in 2021. From there I enrolled in his online school and began learning the craft.

I practiced privately for some time, offering birth chart readings to any family member or friend that was interested and I did this all free of charge. With time I began to realize that it was my soul’s purpose and I had to impart this knowledge to others. So I began promoting myself on social media by creating content and engaging with as many people in the spiritual community as possible. Now, I provide several different birth chart reading options to my clients; soul’s purpose readings, career readings, Bha chakra readings which include 2-3 specific questions, synastry love reading for couples and potential partners, as well as synastry readings for a parent and their child. Through my practice, I have been able to provide my clients with accurate marriage timing, help them anticipate and prepare for career shifts, give them insight into their soul’s purpose, provide timing for new relationships, help them figure out how they can make money now and point them toward new spiritual practices that resonate with them.

Every Astrologer has something unique to impart to their clients. What I offer is a certain relatability that I think is vital when trying to build a rapport with your clients. Because Vedic Astrology is an occult practice and rooted in such rich ancient knowledge it can seem daunting to many to learn and integrate into one’s life. However, through my down-to-earth spirit, use of comedy, and focus on empowering my clients through astrology rather than fear-mongering, everyone can begin to feel comfortable with learning about it and implementing it into their daily lives.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.

I primarily keep in touch with clients through means of social media. Hosting live readings every week by myself as well as with a fellow Vedic Astrologer I recently have begun working with; Camila Regina aka SpiritualBossy. Hosting lives weekly really builds a sense of community and a certain personal touch with the audience. Also, I offer live private readings via Zoom and this also creates an intimacy with my clients that I think fosters a great deal of loyalty and personableness. I also do my best to be very diligent with responding to DMs and comments as much as possible to answer follow-up questions that my clients or audience may have when engaging with my content

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

By continually refining my craft and being “married to it,” I have been able to showcase not only my knowledge but the unwavering dedication I have to provide every one of my clients with the best possible birth chart readings they could ask for. This in turn has instilled a great deal of confidence within my clientele and caused them to refer others to me for readings. Fostering an unshakeable confidence within my clients has been my greatest ally and strategy for growth thus far.
