Azrayea, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
My goal is to overall change mindsets and improve the quality of life for my Royal Fam while also providing them with sustainable and nontoxic products.
Supporting Rayea’s Touch is like taking care of themselves and it’s the first step in creating a self care routine that ultimately works for them.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I want to share my journey of self care & how it has changed my life. I want to educate people on the importance of self care and putting yourself first.
Throughout my journey of business, I have related to so many people on so many levels. I too, have figured out a new definition of self care and mental wellness. Connecting with new people has completely changed my mindset and has helped me become a better self care “coach” ultimately. It’s still mind blowing when people reach out to me and tell me I’ve helped them pay attention to their body’s needs more or just by buying a product, they’ve gained confidence. I aspire to keep persevering through the madness of the world and keep making a difference, especially in the black community where we need to be lifted up the most.
Have you ever had to pivot?
Around November, I decided to quit my job as a pediatric nurse. It was a huge pivot in my life and in my partners life.
I had to ultimately believe in myself and my dream and make it happen. As time progressed, certain events in my family and friend groups happened, that just confirmed that I was doing the right thing.
Quitting my job not only gave me time to focus on my brand, but also my family which is most important to me.
6 months in, I went viral on Tik tok (3M views) and my life has been changed ever since!
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my audience across social media by being genuine and being me. I also showed that their not just customers. I call my audience my “Royal Fam”.
As a business owner, I am huge on realistic professionalism. I am naturally a nice, organized, and fair person. With that being said, professionalism comes easy to me. However, unlike these corporations, I am not a robot. I often tell my Royal Fam the same thing. I am a person just like them, I have feelings, and I have other obligations outside of my brand. I have been 100% transparent throughout my business journey from the start.
By doing that, I think it gives my audience a better idea of what it’s like to be an entrepreneur trying to make it in this world today. I also believe it gives them a closer feeling to me like we really are friends or family. I also love to uplift my audience with affirmations and pretty much check in on them comment on their post And have an actual relationship with my audience on social media. When I make constant I try to make constant that people can easily feel comfortable with commenting on or re-posting. I also don’t just make sells concert I might Contant about self care tips, or motivational content and I even give a slight look into my own life when it comes to my family or friends or what’s going on life updates stuff like that
