We recently connected with Ayanna Jones and have shared our conversation below.
Ayanna, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What was the most important lesson/experience you had in a job that has helped you as a business owner?
The most important lesson and experience I learned from a job that has helped me as a business owner was working as a lead teacher for a daycare. I had to learn to manage a class full of up to 20 children all the while staying on schedule. Time management is something that is imperative to my growth and success in running my business.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a Personal & Catering Chef, and the owner of ShopChefAJ.com. We offer organic spice blends, kitchen appliances and accessories, virtual cooking classes, and recipes. We offer salt free seasonings for no – or – low sodium diets. We are most proud of our spice blend collections being 100% vegan and organic.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Word of mouth has been the strongest strategy for growing my clientele. Simple conversation when meeting people or being connected to friends and other potential clients lead to more business then posting and promoting ever did for me. I will always continue to use word of mouth due to how highly effective it is.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
