Alright, Ayana thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?

The legacy that I am building and would like to leave behind will be; that ANG Model Management or any of my other companies always provided a comfortable environment for you to be great and explore your creativity. My legacy will be known for giving opportunity to the underdogs.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Ayana Gordon, I am 28 years old and the CEO and Founder of ANG Model Management LLC, and Introspective Innovations Fashion Week. ANG Model Management is a freshly developed Bay Area modeling agency, founded in 2018 by Ayana Gordon. ANG Model Management’s mission is to target unique individuals with the ability to be great in front of a camera. ANG Model Management stands out from the traditional modeling agency by excelling in providing personalized, a la carte services to the modeling industry; giving models and clients confidence to accomplish any project. While attending FIDM SF (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising), Ayana Gordon chose to follow her passion and start her own business within model management. ANG Model Management was created and designed to provide an outlet for young unique individuals to find their identity and explore the world of modeling.
ANG Model Management works hard to network with potential clients, provide a trusting system that will guide models to their success, and build models to expose their full potential. ANG Model Management isn’t just about pushing models to become their best, but also building a family.
Also, Introspective Innovations is my fashion production company that produces fashion shows and events for NYFW, LAFW, PFW, and specific clients. I started IIFW with my business partner to give innovative emerging designers a chance to be seen and exposed to the fashion industry. We focus on their creativity and making it affordable to participate.

I am mostly proud of the NYFW shows that I produced for my company that led to collaborations with bigger platforms in LA. IIFW produced two shows in NYC and one in LA and all the casting was done by ANG Model Management. What made each moment perfect was that everyones feed back and the experience was amazing and positive.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I believe what helped me build my reputation in this industry is my persistence and determination to make my way in the fashion industry even if I have to create my own lane. My personality and relatability are also strength that helps build the positive experience I leave will all my clients. Being in the fashion industry I realized that not everyone has the soft, bubbly, comforting personality I have and it’s needed when it comes to the models and clients, That’s what sets me apart from everyone else.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The most rewarding part of being creative is that I get to imagine and visualize something and bring it to life. I love being able to be free about my thinking and allowing everyone to enjoy and experience my dreams. I’m an advocate for entrepreneurship and believe that being creative allows you to think outside of the box while making a living. you cant lose as a creative.
