We were lucky to catch up with Awilda Rosado Quezada recently and have shared our conversation below.
Awilda, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?
YES, I am I feel completely, happy, and I realize when I share my talents people feel in a short time the way I do. when you sing you bring a message and your energy and the public see and enjoy.
I never see myself doing a regular job, cause i have always been in the entertainment world since I remember
Awilda, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
since I remember I have loved to sing and dance and when I was a teenager I began in a school singing and dancing but after I graduated I wanted to do things correctly and great and I started on a famous channel in my country Dominican Republic after 4 years study voice lessons my teacher recommended to me a dance school. where I started to learn the culture of my Dom Rep at the same time I was working in the school as a dancer and singer for different shows that we called Musical Magazine and worked in some movies and the theatre.
I learned so much from the Nereyda Rodriguez Foundation that every time I am going to do some choreography and custom design I think about every detail as she taught me.
Use your talent with respect, and pride cause if you love it people will see it that way.
I am a singer, Dancer, and Entertainment and I put these 3 words together when on stage we talk, no matter how many people the event has I bring and give the best version people can see.
I provide music Entertainment for weddings, Corporate Events, Birthday Parties, Festivals, Fair and More.
apart others like I said before the people are part of the party more than others cause I make them dance, sing, and enjoy themselves like anyone else i am not just a singer I am an artist.
the thing that my fans and clients can feel is I am the same person on the stage and I care for my followers and fans. my music, word, and this career is a gift from God I am going to do all that I can for him to be proud of me.
Awilda Quezada is an artist that feels in all her blood the love for music.
How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
since the community knows an artist go and ask where they can find and follow the work and share with their friends and family cause each person in this world have different friends and family and each person counts. make history with their songs and tag that is part of your support, another is going to their music events free or with a cover.
Download their songs and share, comment, like and subscribe to their channel we have a lot of tools that we can support the radio, news, and festival coordinator they already know the local artist but they want to pay others and that is sometimes hard for the artist but also the artist has to do unique work.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Never say Everything that you can do cause others are letting you know that they can use you and when you are no longer to help or do then you become a bad person or egoist. for them
