We were lucky to catch up with Auxpt recently and have shared our conversation below.
Auxpt, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
I can say through my 17 years of doing music and performing if I could go back I would have focused on networking more in the beginning. I use to be to my self more, I didn’t trust people so I wouldn’t put my self out there. Once I got over that and seen that people attract to me really let me know that the one that won’t to support and know who you are will be the ones to help you elevate.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Auxpt, and at my core I’m a storyteller. I make music for the moments people don’t always know how to explain out loud — the late-night thoughts, the voicemails you never send, the texts you delete before hitting “send.” Music has always been my way of processing life, and I got into this craft not chasing trends, but chasing honesty.
I grew up listening to everything — rap, R&B, gospel, pop, and even dancehall — and that blend naturally shaped my sound. I don’t box myself into one lane because life isn’t one-dimensional. I started creating seriously once I realized music wasn’t just something I enjoyed, it was something I needed. Writing and recording became therapy before it ever became a business.
What I provide creatively is emotion-driven music with narrative weight. My songs aren’t just tracks — they’re chapters. Whether it’s a single or a full project, I focus on telling a complete story. That’s especially true with my concept work, like The Voicemail, where every song connects like scenes in a movie. I aim to create experiences people can sit with, not just background music.
The problem I solve for listeners is simple but powerful: I give people language for feelings they struggle to express. For collaborators, brands, and clients, I bring authenticity, vision, and intentional storytelling. I don’t release music just to release it — every record has purpose, mood, and meaning behind it.
What sets me apart is my willingness to be vulnerable without being performative. I don’t fake pain, confidence, or success. I let the growth show naturally in the work. I’m equally comfortable making a stripped-down emotional record or something polished and cinematic, but the heart always comes first.
What I’m most proud of is staying true to myself in an industry that often rewards imitation. I’ve built my brand around real emotion, real stories, and real progression, and I’ve never compromised that for quick attention.
The main thing I want potential fans, collaborators, and supporters to know is this: Auxpt isn’t a moment — it’s a journey. If you follow my work, you’re not just hearing songs, you’re watching an evolution. I care deeply about the art, the message, and the people who connect to it. If you’ve ever felt unheard, misunderstood, or caught between who you were and who you’re becoming — there’s a place for you in this music.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Just be yourself. My following on Facebook came from me openly talking about how I felt. If I was sad people could relate. If I was happy people could relate. I would say the thing people think but wouldn’t post. When everyone else paints an image of victory and no worries I show the real me so there’s no surprise. I would even talk to people that felt the same way when they would inbox me and I would help them through there lows

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
Network network network. Ima keep it short and sweet. If you got food on your plate you can eat today. But if everyone put there food together you can eat for weeks.
