Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Auston Cook. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Auston, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

My mission and my brands mission is to encourage and inspire the world to live life, specifically to the fullest! Often times we get so caught up in the daily 9 to 5 or any other “system” that society tells us that we should be doing, that we forget to live a little… We come right out of high school and are immediately thrown into this world and are told to get a job, start getting ready for college or move out and get married? Now depending on the path you want to take in life is 100% up to YOU and these things are a bad thing at all. But sometimes we forget to live!

Growing up I always loved doing things with my hands and being outside. It wasn’t until my teenage years that I realized I had a hard time seeing myself work behind a desk, in a surgery room or really any other career that kept me inside. In fact I don’t like using the word career and I never really have. It makes me feel like I have to do it and the word “career” just isn’t the happiest sounding word. When someone asks what I do for a living, I tell them I have multiple hobbies that make me money. I know that may sound silly to some but it makes sense to me.

My mission right now will also be my mission until the end. I love helping not only those in my community but all of you around the world! I have listened to so many people about what they’re pursuing because of the example/ influence I have given them. And that is the greatest feeling EVER!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

In high school I took multiple classes and some of them were graphic design. That’s when I fell in love with designing apparel and it wasn’t until after high school that I decided I wanted to start a clothing brand. But not just any, regular brand that would have a name and I’d hope to profit from it… I wanted to create a company with a mission that would inspire the world! That is when I came up with “Eysian Supply Co” in 2018. The first couple of years we inspired any age of dream chasers to chase what they wanted in life. Because what I had the privilege to do every single day was live a dream of mine. In January of 2022 we decided to go with a much more wide spread approach to target a wider audience. We no longer just targeted the dream chasers around the world, we target everyone and encourage them to “Live life to the fullest”! Because at the end of the day, if you’re living the life you want to live and are doing the things that truly bring you joy. You’re living your dream and doing it to the fullest.

Fast forward to present day and we are launching our ActiveWear line at the end of june, we ship almost worldwide, we offer the softest apparel such as shirts, leggings, headwear, etc and we’re still inspiring the world to live life!

How did you build your audience on social media?

Marketing is something I still to this day am mastering and learning. I was taught a lot from someone with a brand that made it big and accomplished what he wanted too. He introduced me to “Guerrilla Marketing” and it’s one of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever been given!

Guerrilla marketing is a strategy when a company uses a surprise or unconventional interactions in order to bring in profit to their business. In other words what we do, is we surf social media trying to find potential customers. Sometimes we might send them a follow or just comment something nice on their post(s)? If they ever return the favor such as giving us a follow, we reach out with a simple thank you message that makes them feel welcome. It’s always a different message per person because we want it to be personal and not feel automated or that they aren’t appreciated. Do you sell on your site, or do you use a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc?

All of our products are sold straight from our website. We do offer shopping on Facebook and Instagram but all orders are fulfilled through our website and warehouse right here in Utah! We did sell through faire, ebay and wish at one time but it was too much to keep up with. In the future we do plan to sell on amazon.
