We recently connected with Austin Windom and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Austin, thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

I’ve been around amazing essential music my whole life and I believe that in my adolescent years, due to my surroundings, my immediate family being so immersed in so much amazing music and me loving different sounds I’d eventually want to make music which I ultimately decided to do in my later years. Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, years before Rapping really became my passion I loved dancing too. I’ve been in my high school newspaper for such creative ability and even won 1st place in the talent show for an original song I made over a biggie smalls beat that over-stood various talented creatives which I am still proud of to this day. Since then I’ve been on various publications, most still highlighted on my website Officialaus10.com. Now, I believe that around the age of 14 that’s when I became really immersed in the craft of writing songs and making fire lyrics and sharing it. From there its just been an amazing journey and I’m on a whole new level than where I started. Its beautiful to look back on everything I’ve done, reflecting on all the progress that’s been made from when I started until now. I’m also very excited about the future and what it holds, not only in my creative space but in my professional & business lifestyle as well. In conclusion, I want to reach and touch the hearts of many people in this world and ultimately be recognized for my lyrical ability, ideas, creations, songwriting and more because Lord knows I’ve took years of get to a a space where I’m comfortable and confident enough to successfully make a song from start to finish and it be fire.

Hello, Im AUS10. Im 25 and originally from Los Angeles. Rapping is what I’m most passionate about but I’m a creative in many ways so its impossible to for me to label myself as just any 1 thing, I see myself in so many atmospheres creatively there’s no telling what I’d be into next. Im a natural born hustler. I am a disciplined young man and someone who moves with integrity. I could go on and on in an effort to describe myself to a tee but there’s not enough positive words I can utter to explain, I’d rather you stay tuned in and have an intellectual conversation with me one day. Maybe we can share some game with one another. Now, I don’t believe I’m really in the music industry as of yet, I still feel I’m still fighting for a spot to be known and truly appreciated while at the same time being independent and learning the mechanics of how it all works so I can get my music and introduce myself to a broader worldwide audience. I’m proud of the work I”ve done up to this point and developing my lyrical and songwriting ability. What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect for me would be from when I first conceive that first line for a song then going through that mental challenge to get the next one out, then the next one all the way until I completed writing a fire well thought out song in its entirety. Once its done then its done. From there I can recite it, dance to it, enjoy a brand new creation that all came from focus and pat myself on the back for staying disciplined through the creative process. Thats a reward in itself for me. The knowing that I can do it over and over again. To literally go from nothing to something is amazing to me.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

I don’t have a particular goal other than to be successful, worthy of recognition in the eyes of those I look up to and ultimately the world of Hip-Hop Music Lovers. I want to be the best I can be and reach a Number 1 spot one day because many of those who I feel I take after lyrically have done so. It’s just a matter of time, patience, consistency and determination on my end.
