We were lucky to catch up with Aunee Standridge recently and have shared our conversation below.

Aunee, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Who is your hero and why? What lessons have you learned from them and how have they influenced your journey?

I am beyond blessed to be able to say that my hero in life is also my best friend. Will is by far one of the best human beings I have ever met. We met back in 2009 where we both worked on a top producing real estate team. Fast forward to today, we have developed one of the best friendships I could possibly ask for. His influence has inspired and taught me so much. To highlight just a few of them, he has taught me to always believe in myself no matter what, to never give up on my dreams, and to only give my energy to the things and activities in life that are truly going to further my growth and success as a person. He is a true example of what success looks like both personally and professionally. Will crushes his life on the daily. He has influenced my journey beyond measure, he has been my biggest support and cheerleader, and he has believed in me when I didn’t even believe in myself. If it wasn’t for him and taking a true interest and investment into my life and real estate business, I would not have been able to take the leap of faith and give my career the full chance I have. I am forever thankful for him and beyond blessed to call him my hero.

Aunee, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I have been involved in real estate in one way or another since 2006. I started as a front desk coordinator and took a huge interest in the business and decided to pursue the dream.. I truly enjoy helping people wisely navigate through the entire process of a real estate transaction. It thrills me to see my clients accomplishing not only their real estate goals but also their life goals. I naturally have a love and compassion for people and doing the real estate business allows me to not only help people through the real estate transaction but also connect with people while serving them on a personal and professional level. It is so rewarding to gain the trust of my clients and to build great relationships.

When I am not working, I enjoy water activities, hiking, time with family, fitness, and live music. I believe that life is less about what you are doing and more about the company you are doing it with. I live with an open heart and love to enjoy the many blessings of life. My favorite quote is “Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier”. While growing up I always had a drive and passion to succeed and to that end, I have continued to pursue daily personal growth and development and It has served me well. I am proud of my journey, where I started and where I am now, and I love being able to be a part of my clients journey.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I believe that being authentic and treating people the way you would want to be treated has been the key component in my success. I believe that people have been able to see that I truly do care and want the absolute best for them. It has allowed them to trust me and my guidance

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

Open houses and referrals have been a major success in gaining new clients. I also believe that follow up is key.
