We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Aundrea Salinas. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Aundrea below.
Aundrea, appreciate you joining us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
I was raised by a single mother she definitely set every stepping stone to lead me to being extremely successful in industry . My mother has planted positive seeds of creativity to fulfill all passions in my life. I ask many of my clients the same question every day. “What is the best advice you have received from your mother”? My answer to the question is a simple and easy answer. “My mother has taught me to always give from a full heart. Don’t leave the house unless your ready to serve the lords people. ”

Aundrea, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My full time gig is Hair&makeup for weddings and special occasion events. I also specialize In maternity body art and custom costume designs. People always ask me what is my favorite thing to do in the industry it’s hard to put my finger on just one thing I enjoy making people feel fully confident in who they are so anything that allows me to boost someone’s confidence. Growing up I was the odd and out I never really fit in anywhere so being able to create people’s hopes and dreams through my craft have been so unbelievably rewarding because I am.able.to connect and help others with self esteem issues. I feel my art is set apart because I always have so many new ideas so it’s extremely interesting watching my art change over the years. I use materials such as mesquite wood, leaves and so many natural elements to create my art that is extremely out of the box and unique to my visons.
: Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My family is most important to me I am a mother of two children. I want to encourage them that impossible is always possible. When setting goals and wants for my future it always includes seeing my family beside me letting them know how important there roles are and let them know how important and inspiration they are to my art journey.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
I believe non creative play it safe. There is always rules and a right way to arrive at each destination. As a artist I know that rolling with the punches and picking yourself off the ground is always a new beginning each challenge has built and prepared me.for my future of failure or success.
