Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Audrey Stowe. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Audrey, appreciate you joining us today. Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?
Yes I’ve been able to earn a full-time living from my creative work! I started 7 years ago in 2015. I started my platform off by sharing daily outfits with friends as a hobby. In a year in grew to around 10,000 followers and I started getting brands send me free gifting. From there, I started to slowly monetize my platform. It’s been a slow but steady growth over 7 years that has now lead to me being full time.

Audrey, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I typically describe myself as a Texas-based fashion and lifestyle blogger. It’s vague because I share a little bit of everything! From daily outfits and style, to amazon deals, home decor, and everyday life with my husband. I also have a seasonal clothing line through my online brand that I run and spend my days honestly just sharing the highs and lows of life. Like an online bestie!
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The MOST rewarding aspect is getting to connect with people all over the world. I have such a special connection with my followers and many have been with me through some of my most exciting life moments as well as the hardest moments I’ve ever endured. It’s an online community I’ve built through the years and it feeds my soul so well.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Honestly, that time is now! I’ve slowly seen the industry and platforms change and have been working on pivoting my content to adjust these changes. Such as: videos, reels, growing with new platforms, etc. I think it’s important to always be willing to grow in new ways and try different things because my fear is getting left behind!
