We recently connected with Audrey Ingram and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Audrey, thanks for joining us today. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
If I could go back in time I would honestly have done things differently than what I am doing now. I would have been more serious in my acting career. In 2006 I wanted to become a actress. I met alot of great people during that time but being so young and not knowing the business entirely I probably would have forfeited alot. I had ambition but not the business smarts. But I would have dug deep into the business and perfected my craft in 2006. Now in 2025 I am more advanced and more knowledgeable of not only my craft but the Acting world and what it really takes. I did not know then what I know now which I am glad of Gods timing and knowing when it is best for me to move forward.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Audrey Ingram, also known as “AudreyTwenty47”, is a daughter, a friend, actor, comedian, a Jesus girl, and a joy dealer on a mission to make faith feel less like a chore and more like a celebration. With a gift of mixing scripture with humor, she inspires others to laugh, heal, and grow in grace, one punchline at a time. Whether on stage, or online, she tries to remind others that holiness and humor can live in the same heart.
I went viral in October 2020, where I posted a comedy video about women in church, and it grew over 1 millions views in less than 3days. I continued to create more Christian comedy per the followers request and they kept going viral. I then chose to take the steps as to self book for projects to gain experience in the Acting world. I took acting and commercial classes to gain more knowledge on how to get booked for roles.
With that being said I was able to to be on film & television, such as a background extra on 3 episodes for the tv show “Our Kind of People”, the new Marvin Sapp movie “Never Would Have Made It”, TV commercial, and a role on “Fatal Attraction” amd “Payback” tv series on TVOne, as well as other indie film projects.
My passion is entertaining the “Saints” with good clean comedy. I firmly believes in Jesus Christ and my motto is “Love God & Love People.” I enjoy “Bringing Love & Laughter Your Way” with my video skits as they bring a message of encouragement, scripture with a twist, and a joke on the side.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect for me is being able to make people laugh during hard times. In today’s world and with all that is going on, alot of people are having a hard time with life and its struggles. Sometimes we need an escape of things to do or watch that can take our minds off of our problems for a few, so why not create good clean fun comedy that not only gives you a good message of encouragement but it makes you laugh until you cry.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
There are several books that I have read recently but the one that stood out the most was this book called “Hood To Hollywood” by Princess Monique. Her story gave me a great perspective as to how she kept her faith and trusted God and his guidance and being in the right place at the right time and God will elevate you when the time is right. Just keep praying and putting in the work. That book pushed my faith and encouraged me to continue tonwork hard and things will oay off and they have.
