Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Audrey Foreback. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Audrey, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
My mission has always been to provide life long memories that last. They always say a picture is worth a thousand words, and thorough this simplistic statement, that is what I strive to do each and every time I am offered the opportunity to photograph my clients. It is my personal mission that each client that I service will have not only a memory through a picture, but that they will have a unique experience within themselves or families, that they will carry with them for the reset of their longevity.

Audrey, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I began photography in 2013, after having my son, Parris Nye; which is where my business and brand name came from. Nye signifies my son, which is my inspiration behind my photography. Parris was born in February, and there was a snowstorm that kept us in the hospital for a few days longer than expected. I began playing with the settings on my camera in my phone, and started taking my own pictures of him to upload to Facebook. When it was time for the nursery pictures to happen, I was not really interested, because I saw the prices of the pictures. My goal was to be able to not only photograph my own child, but also others and their families, while providing affordable photography that could last them. Since then, I have been enjoying the craft with my own family, friends, and strangers. I enjoy creating happy moments for people, at an affordable cost that will allow everyone to have a picture to last a lifetime. It is not about the money for me, it is the smiles that keep me going.

How did you build your audience on social media?
My social media audience is built off of referrals and tagging that I personally do on my own. Since my Facebook business page is linked to my personal page, I often send out invites to my friends. I also advertise to my friends and family members, and tag my business page, when often asked about referrals. A rule that I have with myself is if it is business related, I point everyone to my business page, so that I can professionally interact with them, and have a running track of conversations that are not personal and only business related.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I like to think that my continuous clientele has came from not only my quality of work, but my openness and willingness to create with my clients. I have a lot of clients who I shoot photos of yearly as a family tradition now, and that all comes from being open and honest with them with communication. Yes we have a package that is offered, but I also include things that my own eye catches. So ultimately that may be 12 pictures are included in your package, but I’ll throw 3 extra in, because I see a fun moment and something I’d love for them to enjoy.
