We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Audrey Brooks a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Audrey, thanks for joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I am convinced that my life’s calling has always revolved around assisting individuals in making transformative decisions to propel them forward. Even in my early adulthood, I naturally became the go-to person for resolving both professional and personal challenges. Transitioning into a management career, my ability to provide attentive and impartial support to my colleagues and employees played a crucial role in my success.
As the years passed, it became clear to me that my inherent gift and purpose were centered around making a positive impact by helping people navigate daily challenges. In 2014, upon relocating to Houston, I assumed the role of Director of the Marriage Ministry in my church. Encouraged by my pastor, I pursued certification as a Board Certified Christian counselor, marking a pivotal moment in my life and the inception of my ministry.
This transition affirmed that I was fulfilling my purpose through effective listening and providing support. Little did I anticipate the profound impact I would have over the years. Through my ministry, I have aided numerous individuals in releasing longstanding issues that had kept them stagnant. The adage, “find something you love doing, and you won’t work another day,” rings true for me. The fulfillment I derive from witnessing clients recognize the internal resources they possess, with a guiding hand, is indescribable.
I am passionate about what I do because it aligns seamlessly with my inherent purpose. My mission remains steadfast — to empower individuals to let go of the past, break free from stagnation, and emerge from spiritual desolation through my counseling and coaching abilities, fostering continuous forward growth.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
