We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Audrey Brianne. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Audrey below.
Hi Audrey, thanks for joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Success looks different for each person, but there’s fundamental elements that are the basis for all success. Hard work (ethic), kindness and knowledgeability will take any individual far in the industry.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am an LA-based wardrobe stylist. My experience at renowned companies such as Tommy Hilfiger, Betsey Johnson, Carole Hochman, and People’s Revolution have created a unique and innovative approach to styling.
With a fashion design degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, my styling endeavors span New York, Los Angeles and in-between.
Clientele includes a who’s-who of captivating talent including a wide-range of ‘young Hollywood,’ TV & film actors and musicians.
To date, my clients have ranged from Bailee Madison, Chris Tucker, Derek Hough, Jennette McCurdy, KALEO, Matt Lanter, Stassi Schroeder, Troian Bellisario, Willow Shields and more.
For over a decade, I’ve been styling with an emphasis on Celeb Red Carpet appearances and editorial. In addition to dressing work on THE VOICE, TODAY SHOW and late-night TV such as JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE! and LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS– I’ve also been featured on LIFEANDSTYLEMAG.COM, JUST JARED JR, and LA FEMME COLLECTIVE.
I was a 2013 Stylist Ambassador for WET SEAL, Fashion Editor for BISOUS MAGAZINE and recurring Celeb Stylist Contributor on TOOFAB. Currently I write for The Laterals magazine and am a co-host for The dm podcast where we discuss the best in costume design in film and television.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
It’s rewarding to be able to have styling be my 9-5, because I get to stretch my creativity, constantly meet new fellow creatives and express myself through clothing and style.
Through the ups and downs of the industry, I’ve prevailed and am extremely grateful to say that every night I lay my head down I truly
am living a life I love and doing what rings true to me.

Do you think there is something that non-creatives might struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can shed some light?
It takes A LOT of patience to solidify your position in this industry. Success rarely happens overnight. I suggest assisting right away under principle stylist’s you admire. Study and learn their craft and work HARD.
Realize that manual labor is a huge part of this industry and that long hours go into creating even a single look.
