We were lucky to catch up with Attacha” Rudolph recently and have shared our conversation below.
Attacha”, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
Actually my two sons came up with part of my business name. They said momma you are always coming up with new flavor combinations and different ways to do your food and desserts so why not have Creative and I was like I love that name and then it dawned on me, I’m always calling every women I meet a Queen even if they don’t see it themselves. I try to uplift and speak to that Queen in them. So that’s when Creative Queen came in.

Attacha”, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Attacha’ Rudolph. I am the mother of two boys and a business owner that owns Creative Queen specializing in unique dishes and tasty treats. I bring people together through irresistible flavors of cuisines and desserts from around the world. Through my passion of global gastronomy traveling to Italy learning to make sauces and pastas from scratch as well as having cooking and baking classes teaching the youth and mentoring them as well. To be able to dominate in the kitchen, but have fun while you’re doing it. My motto is “If you’re not having fun while cooking what are you doing.?” I’ve interned at Disney World learning so much along the way and network until while doing so. I’ve cooked for some people while I’m Florida such as Laron Profit and William McDowell. I’ve cooked for Jaquees my son and I when he was in louisville for concert back in 2023. I’ve won 2024 taste of jeffersonville breakfast category & Fresh Start Festival In New Albany. I also participated in Black Chef Expo as well as the taste of Southern Indiana and Taste of South Louisville, I did participate as one of the chefs for signature gala for March Of Dimes 2024 in Lexington KY as well as chosen to compete in Desserts Wars In Charlotte NC 2024 where I came in the top 25 in judges category and came in 8th place in the people vote category I participated in Black Eats Week 2024 Louisville KY. I have been on the news many times fork wlky to whas 11. Just being able ro do what I love and br8ng smiles on people’s faces. This year I did a 4 course dinner show Jan 2024 over a Mesa in New Albany and will have 1 every month the reminder of the year. I love when people enjoy what I create. My niece she will be 5 next month and tells me all the time I want to be a chef like you, it just warms my heart.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Social media, my website and just word of Mouth and sometimes people are like I know you and when I ask from where they say I saw you on the news.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
To be honest I have always cooked and baked as a child but always saw it as a hobby never a career. That was until I went to Italy and taste the food and did a pasta making class from scratch. The joy that I felt and seeing how food brought people together I was like yes this is what I want to do put a smile on others faces through food and desserts.
