We were lucky to catch up with Atiyyah Radford recently and have shared our conversation below.
Atiyyah, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I wanted to create something everyone could network and gain opportunity like no other. being that support pillar that many is missing in their journey because life has been hell for me and now I just want to show that we can come together and everything will be easier . so I started cases a basement year and a half ago

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a professional model, dancer, actor, comedian host, Director and event coordinator. I achieve my social degree at the age of 18 and started in the entertainment field in 2017 and now I travel and set up events throughout the city to collaborate the city together opportunities like no other . at my Mike’s, you can find Comedy gigs music kids acting from skits, film, plays, or movies. Including dance teams, and even bands get booked at my shop come connect.. as well as im a teacher . as well as I am the self-employment Director in a nine profit we have going on called runaway. becoming a second home to kids that are out on the streets while teaching them life skills, sheltering them, and giving them the ropes around life. We are constantly looking for donations and volunteers to help assist with a community..

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I will go a lot more into this in the interview, but wow pursuing my dreams. I always worked two jobs.. even when i was doing my associates degree . always pushing for the best but had so many things that kept happening to set me back but i just wouldn’t let it.. father died when i was 12 so single mother with 5 brothers and 1 sister . been homeless 3 times. from having 2 cars and all to losing everything 3 times in a row . sleeping outside my job and all. it’s been a really hard and long journey but i’m here to give back . that’s what kept me pushing

Can you talk to us about how you funded your business?
in order to continue striving towards my dreams, things got hard with regular jobs. Because with the modeling the acting comedy and everything else things come up so much and doing things like this requires so much time so I literally dashed Doordash since like 2017 working from 6 AM to midnight and I still do that to this day that’s how I find all my events. all my plays and my 2 weekly shows i produce. i work 24/7 since all of it comes out my pocket
