Asia , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Dj Anelz began Dj’ing as a college Senior at Old Dominion University in 2019. What started as a hobby, quickly became a passion. As her passion sprouted, so did her name as she quickly became one of the most desired female dj’s in the Hampton Roads area. Although she is new to the music scene her resume and skills are a true testament to her God-given musical abilities. Dj Anelz is an open-format DJ spinning everything from Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin, and Pop, to Afro-beats, Reggae, Soca, Soulful house & more. Dj Anelz is known to create an electric atmosphere, packing dance floors and leaving crowds with memories that will last them forever.

In 2022 DJ Anelz co-founded her own Entertainment company known as Creative Excellence Entertainment where she offers photography services, videography services, photo-booth’s, and lighting and AV rentals. No matter what any event may need DJ Anelz’s charisma, style, and mixes will always leave the crowd with a high demand to crave more!

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Staying true to who I am, and offering excellent service has helped me grow in the entertainment business so far. Since being in business, I have had excellent communication skills, and I’ve provided high-quality services to all of my clients.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

Funding my business forced me to take a huge leap of faith. I was a broke college student entering my senior year. I used my fall semester’s refund check to purchase my first DJ controller and DJ record pool subscription. Soon after that, I started being booked for gigs, realizing that I now need speakers and other important items to complete these gigs. I opened up my first credit card and purchased all of the items necessary to become an official beginner DJ.
