We were lucky to catch up with Ashley Poole recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Ashley, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about how you got your first non-friend, non-family client. Paint the picture for us so we can feel the same excitement you felt on that day.
I earned my real estate license in September 2018. I took the entire month of October collecting my CE hours and educating myself. In November, my first set of clients were family relocating from my hometown Boynton Beach, Florida. They were referred to me by my bonus mom. It was extremely exciting sending over that Buyer Exclusive Brokerage Agreement. I was actually stepping into my career and ready, willing and able to serve.
Ashley, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a Florida native, Boynton Beach to be exact. I moved to Atlanta when I was 10 years old. So Atlanta is more like home for me. In 2007 I got into Property Management, after getting married and having three children, flexibility was needed. Getting my real estate license and becoming a full-time entrepreneur gave me that flexibility. Solving problems is a Realtor’s job. We are set to resolve other people’s problems. Ex: A couple outgrows their 1 bedroom apartment because they’ve had two children back to back years and need more space. That’s where I come in, call me super agent lol because it’s my duty to place them in a space that will accommodate their growing family.
I am unique, there is no other person on mother Earth that is like me. I may have similarities to others but there is only one Ashley Poole. I absolutely LOVE to make people happy. I LOVE being apart of others dreams coming true. I am who I am, full of knowledge, peace, and fun. But always striving to be better than I was yesterday.
Each year, each day, each month, I am seeking ways to be and give my very best. So I have not only been apart of one of the best Firms, but I am always investing in my education to be the expert agent I need to be for my clients. I can guarantee to give my potential clients nothing but my very best and to serve them with the biggest smile and professional service.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Social media will have you in your feelings. It will make you feel like you’re behind or not doing enough. You’ll find yourself comparing to other people’s journey, when your traveling your own. My advice to those starting to build their brand, use social media but stay true to yourself. You’re unique and there is no one like you. People are attracted to what’s authentic. It’s rare to come across something that is the first. So take tips of others but be creative and put your own spin to make your brand yours.
“High intention” deserve “high attention”! ~ Gary Keller
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lot of people walk down a fine line of being in their comfort zone. Not realizing that the “comfort zone” keeps them stagnant. Most people choose to stay comfortable because they’re afraid of failure. When you realize that failing is only when you give up and progress when you keep trying, one will just learn that experience is the best teacher and you can only evolve to be greater at your will.
