Hi Ashley, thanks for joining us today. Some of the most interesting parts of our journey emerge from areas where we believe something that most people in our industry do not – do you have something like that?
I think one of the biggest misconceptions that people have, both in society and in the health insurance space, is that having ANY insurance means your protected. However, there is a massice difference between just getting coverage…and getting the RIGHT coverage for you.
We’ve been conditioned to treat health insurance like a checkbox. Something you either have, or don’t. But real protection doesn’t come simply from just HAVING a policy. It comes from understanding how it works, what it actually covers, and how well it fits your lifestyle, finances and your health needs.
There is no one-size-fits all plan. Yet most people are getting cookie cutter plans, or pick something off surface level because of confusion, or because of not knowing you have more choice than you think! Think about it like a pair of glasses. You wouldn’t wear someone elses prescription glasses and expect to see clearly…so why do we do that with our health coverage?
That’s the shift I’m here to create! To me, choosing the right plan is an act of self-awareness and is EMPOWERING. I truly believe that we could make waves of change and diference and reclaim control in the healthcare industry by positioning ourselve to be better covered. Saving individuals, families and the everyday American thousands a year, and getting MORE care covered.
I relized all of this the hard way. When I left my job and became self employed, I had to get my own coverage for the first time. The COBRA coverage was going to cost my family $2,600 a month!!! I remember staring at the number thinking how can anyone do this? How is this sustainable? This is 2 mortgage payments!!! Growing up, we learned that one of the biggest perks of having a job was ‘benefits’. It wasn’t till after I went self employed, I started digging and realized there were other options. Private health insurance plans that were often better, more flexible and far more affordable if you qualified.
This was my wake up call, and I remember thinking… if I had no idea this existed, how many others don’t know either!
So I started talking about it, and shared what I learned online. Breaking it down in simple terms, sharing real stories, and bring clarity and compassion to a space that usually feels cold and confusing. Most health insurance talk online is fear based or filled with frustration. I wanted to bring something diferent because what I realized is what we are lacking most on is understanding!
Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of people get better coverage, just by showing up online and simplifying what no one else was taking the time to explain. Some of my most notable clients I’ve worked with have saved over $26,000 a year on premims. Others have gotten surgries or specialist care for thousands less. Most importantly, they finally felt like their coverage fit thier life, rather than drain it.
And to me, that’s what it’s really about. Not just checking a box, its about protecting your health, your finances, your peace of mind, and y our future. When someone get a plan that actually fits thier life, it changes the way they care for themselves, make decision, and move through the world. That’s not just insurance… that’s FREEDOM. And that’s why I do what I do.

Hello! I’m Ashley! I’m a licensed health insurance consultant and digital marketing & content creative partner based in Florida. I am someone who is passonate about helping people feel less overwhelmed by insurance, and more in control of their health and finances.
I got into this industry the hard way… when I became self-employed and found out health insurance would cost my family $2,600 a month!! That shock led be to discover and work with private health insurance plans I never knew existed before. It was a complete mindset shift, and I realized most people don’t even know these options are out there!!
At the same time, I had already been creating socal media content for over five years, both for my own platforms and as a brand collaborator and sponsored creator. So stepping online to talk about health insurance felt like a natural extension of what I was already doing. I didn’t start sharing to get sales, I genuinely wanted to simplify topics of health insurance. But that honesty and transparency naturally drew people in. Without even trying, I began getting messages and consultation requests from people who resonated with what I was sharing. That shift allowed me to take my business fully online and work with clients nationwide.
What’s been most meaningful is how personal and genuine those connections feel. Because by the time someone reaches out, they’ve already gotten value fromt he free information I share! That foundation make the work we do together even more impactful!
Today I work with idividuals, familes, 1099 contractors, self employed professionals and small business owners to help them qualify for personalized private health insurance plans that fit their needs and budget. I offer one on one consultations, custom quote reviews, and ongoing support.
What sets me apart is I meet people where they are. Breaking things down without insurance jargon, sharing real stories, and leading with education first. Since starting, I’ve helped hundreds of cliens save thousands on premiums, access better care, and find peace of mind with their coverage.
What I’m most proud of is how many lives I’ve been able to impact just by showing up authentically and as myself online and offline!
If there is one thing I want people to know, its this! Health insurance doesn’t have to be scary or confusing, and you DON’T have to figure it out alone!
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I started content creating over 5 years ago. Long before I ever talked about health insurance. At the time, I was just sharing parts of my life: family, personal, life etc. I enjolyed showing up online talking about my interests, connecting with other people and the art behind making creative talking content. It taught me how to show up consistently, create with intentiona nd connect with people in a real way.
When I transitioned to into health insurance, I naturally brought that same energy with me. I didn’t approact it like, “how do I sell a poilicy”, I asked “how can I make this easier to understand for someone like me a few years ago.”
So I started sharing stories, behind the scenes break downs, relatable explanations and bits of my own journey. And honestly, I think that’s what build the community I have. By being real, and warm in a space that is usually treated as a cold, boring or scary place.
Advice I would give?
Start with showing up! Don’t worry about going viral or having the perfect aesthetic. Focus on serving the people you want to connect with. What do they need to hear today? What unique perspective can you bring?
Be consistent, but don’t burn yourself out. Once piece of clear, authetic content is more valuable than ten trend-hopping videos with no real message.
And most importantly, don’t wait till its “perfect” to start. Your voice, your story, and your perspective are already valuable. People can feel what’s real, and that’s what makes them come back.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
I listen to a lost of audiobooks and podcasts, but two people who have had a big impact on the way I think about business is Gary Vaynerchuk and Myron Golden.
Gary Vee really resonates with me, especially when it comes to the online and content space. He’s been doing this for decades, and doing it exceptionally well. I love watchin his YouTube videos and implementing his strategies because they are practical, and rooted in long term value. He’s incredibly good at forecasting where attention is going and how creators and business owners can stay ahead of the curve. Lead with value, be consistent and don’t be afraid to give freely.
With Myron Golden, he bring something qually important for me to the table. He speaks about business through a biblical lens. And he does it in a way that feels both powerful and deeply aligned. As a Christian and a business owner, I want to make sure my purpose is rooted in something bigger than just profits. Myron talks about pairing faith with dicipline and grit, and he articulates the tensions between trusting God and still doing the hard work required to build something meaningful. That’s been a grouding force for me in seasons where entrepreneurship felt heavy.
