Alright, Ashley thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s been the best thing you’ve ever seen (or done yourself) to show a customer that you appreciate them?

As a couples and weddings photographer, I’ve always sought to go above and beyond in showing appreciation for my clients, and one of the most meaningful ways I’ve done this is through the thoughtful gifts included in my wedding packages!

Once the wedding gallery is finished, I take special care to ensure my clients have a memorable keepsake. I invite them to carefully select their favorite images, knowing that each photo holds a cherished memory from their special day. From the tender moments shared during the ceremony to the celebrations on the dance floor, these images capture their love story.

But I don’t stop there! As part of my wedding packages, I offer a complimentary engagement or bridal shoot, allowing couples to capture those precious moments leading up to their big day. These sessions not only provide stunning images but also serve as an opportunity for the couple to become comfortable in front of the camera, and form a friendship between us!

My passion for photography ignited during my high school years, where I took pictures of anything and everything! However, it wasn’t until about two years ago that I fully immersed myself in professionalizing my brand and turning my passion into a career!

One of my biggest inspirations in this journey has been my dad. He studied photography in college and passed down his love of the craft to me.

In my photography business, I specialize in capturing the love stories of couples as they embark on the beautiful journey of marriage. From the sweet moments shared during engagement sessions to the magic of the wedding day itself, I aim to create timeless images that evoke emotions and preserve memories for a lifetime!

What sets me apart from others in the industry is not just my technical skills behind the camera, but also my genuine passion for storytelling and connection. I believe that every couple has a unique story to tell, and I strive to capture the essence of their love in a way that is authentic and meaningful to them!

I take pride in providing personalized services that cater to the specific needs and preferences of each couple. We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I began by sharing stories of love, of weddings, of my own journey as a photographer. Each narrative accompanied by captivating visuals that spoke volumes. Through consistent posting, I invited viewers into my world, offering glimpses behind the lens and sharing insights from my experiences, to my work in general.

Engagement became the cornerstone of my social media strategy. I didn’t simply share content, I actively engaged in conversations, taking the time to respond to comments and messages, and forming connections with fellow creatives and clients alike. Additionally, I hosted giveaways, offering potential clients the chance to experience my work firsthand at no cost. My hope was that they would have a positive experience and, in turn, share their experience with their friends and family. These interactions weren’t just transactions, they were opportunities to create genuine relationships!

Visual storytelling emerged as my signature style. Each image shared on my feed was carefully curated to reflect not just my work but also my values and aesthetic sensibilities!

For those embarking on their own social media journey, my advice is simple: Be authentic. Be consistent. Engage meaningfully. Share stories that resonate. And above all, never stop learning and growing. Building a thriving social media presence isn’t just about amassing followers; it’s about cultivating a community—one grounded in trust, authenticity, and shared values!

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The most fulfilling part of my job is capturing the love and emotions of my clients. There’s nothing quite like freezing those special moments in time and knowing that my images will be cherished for years to come. Seeing the joy on my clients’ faces when they view their photos and knowing that I played a part in preserving their memories is incredibly rewarding. And I love the creative process of photography—finding the perfect angle, capturing the light just right, and creating images that tell a story. It’s a privilege to be able to document such intimate moments and share in my clients’ happiness.
