We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ashley Lewis a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Ashley, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about serving the underserved.

Growing up, I learned that giving is better than receiving. I would see my mom travel to africa with her church to do missionary work for people in need and she would treat people with love. I believe that alongside God putting this in my heart is what drived me to start an impact company to help women in the best way I can. Being there to hear their problems, connect with them, and to serve the community with the help of others.

Ashley, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m With Her is a women based company that creates safe space for women to connect and share their stories together throught multitude of events. We have 3 focus areas outside of doing community work, which is self love, sister support and women empowerment.

It is important to know that you are not alone and that you have sisters or community you can count on, so we make sure that no one is left behind.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

One word – consistency. I can say consistency really helped me because people get to know who you are and get a feel for who you really are when you continue to show up.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

My best source has actually been referrals. I have worked women in the past who know what I’m With Her stands for and because of them I have met some really dope women. This is one reason why connecting is very important!
