We were lucky to catch up with Ashley Krug recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ashley, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
When I started this buisness h obviously knew I wanted it to be a profited one which comes along with success. Most importantly though I wanted it to be a buisness that everyone could afford. The wedding industry has this concept of you get what you paid for , which is so true but what about you get what you pay for in your realistic budget? Should less money mean less quality of product that skimp on your photos. I knew in my heart I wanted to keep me affordable fo everyone. Everyone deserves beautiful pictures and maybe having a payment plan or different variation of packages would help keep us trending to all couples rather than only one price point clientele. Affordable tasteful photography is for all rather than x amount of money.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
In 2012 I started a business taking pictures of children and families. In 2013 I switched to learning weddings as I personally was getting married and couldn’t find a wedding photographer in my price range. By 2016 I was training my husband on video and my 2019 he was doing photography with me too. When 2020 covid hit we had so many reschedules that we needed help which started our team. We hired amazing associates and now have a brand with over 10 solid people who works with us and we have become a very successful company in the state of Florida.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
When starting your company social media is this most important aspect of growth. Creating content that’s not only is fun but also says I want to be apart of that. Post, tag , location and share over and over and over. It’s free advertisement and one that travels all over.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Instagram has definitely helped keep in touch with past and future clients. It’s amazing the ones we get to be apart of so many life milestones. We capture the engagement, wedding, pregnancy and the family. The business takes care of its self because they seek you for their happiness and moments of importance and you get to grown from it and keep a loyal friendship and be apart of the coolest thing ever while making money.
