We recently connected with Ashley Grant and have shared our conversation below.

Ashley, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Day to day the world can seem like a tough place, but there’s also so much kindness in the world and we think talking about that kindness helps spread it and make the world a nicer, kinder place. Can you share a story of a time when someone did something really kind for you?

There has been alot of people on this journey that have been there and helped me move along my vision. From starting Cannabis Infusionz up until now, there are still people coming in and out helping me with evolving the business. I have much appreciation because this has been a community effort whether I need help in any aspect of the business, people have been great resources to me where it matters most. I am grateful for all the kindness and help, this has been a very rare circumstance.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I started Cannabis Infusionz around my love for music and cannabis. It quickly evolved into a network for cannabis and music culture combined in an experience. As an artist myself, I wanted to create an environment where people feel respected and understood as well as seen. The brand is multifaceted in music culture, podcasting, events, and over all experiences with education beyond surface level expectations. The Cannabis Infusionz Podcast is a cannabis educational podcast where we bring people from the culture to talk about cannabis, real life conversation, sample cannabis strains and describing them. Every guest leaves a “stoner quote” at the end of the podcast which has also been a fan and guest favorite. Infinite Heat is another show on the network and is a music video show for musical artist. Every other week local artist from around the nation sends in a music video, fans vote, and the winner gets an interview on the next show and a $50 gift card. I also go to different 420 smoke friendly events around different places so people can get a sense of the cannabis culture and business owners who are still trying to keep the experience of the culture relevant. This is no ordinary network this is a movement and unique experience that no one else has given. I am most proud of myself for not giving up and staying the course to find like minded people to influence the world.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I have been doing music for a long time. Being in the music industry has brought me long life connections that I never knew that I needed. When I created Cannabis Infusionz I had a head start and people already knew me from how I conducted my artist business. This helped me establish a trust and gained me people that I knew would give me a good reference even though I was just starting out with the network.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

To be honest, going to any type of events and meeting people outside of social media has been the best source of new clients for me personally.
