Ashley, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
Introducing holistic healing through soaps, salves, and aromatic roller oils was a huge risk that I took in the business world. My goal in taking this risk was to provide consumers with a safe, effective alternative to traditional cleansing and healing options. Nature provides us with everything we need to survive, and the use of essential oils in my products helps to incorporate that idea. I created a line of soap bars that are full of benefits for the mind, body and soul, which led me to introduce what I call healing oils that can aid in calming the mind and body during stressful situations and as a meditation tool. I have always believed that nature works in our favor, and I have shown that with my products. The risk was worth it because I am able to serve multiple people with different situations and ailments that my products help to relieve the burden of.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I created Divine Femme Holistics in 2022 with the vision of providing organic, vegan and holistic products to help the body heal and calm the mind in the process. I started with healing salves made from beeswax and dead nettle plants I hand picked to create a hemp oil based tincture. These salves are great for healing cuts, scrapes, bug bites, and skin irritation. I also introduced the hemp oil soaps that had multiple combinations of essential oils to combat all kinds of skin impurities; including acne, dryness, inflammation, and eczema. This year I introduce a couple new lines including Goat Milk based soaps and aromatic healing oils. The healing oils are most useful for calming the mind and soul for preparation during meditation, as well as in stressful moments they provide a calming sense to slow the minds thoughts. I am proud of my products because they work, they are different, and my mission sets me apart from mainstream soap makers. Healing is a process, including caring for our bodies, so I provided the most effective way to care for the whole self. I have pages on Facebook, Tik Tok, and a shop on Etsy. We are very small, but very effective.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Social media is the best way to advertise and market new products and business. I frequently post on Facebook and tik tok. Reaching out to close family and friends to share my posts has opened my audience and gave me a larger group to showcase to.

In 2023, near the end, I had to put my shop and my business on hold. Personal life issues took over my time and focus, causing me to have to step back. I was always committed to coming back to it, I just was never sure when it would be. I had it in my 5 year goals to relaunch within 2 years, and by the grace of God I was in a position to relaunch early. March of 2025 was the month I made my comeback and have been working on new products, new efforts, and new ways to market. I am hoping to get my products in a local shop or market and open my sales base a little more. Resiliency is in my blood. No matter what life throws at me, I will maintain my hard work and keep promoting healing by nature.
