We were lucky to catch up with Ashley Dailey recently and have shared our conversation below.

Ashley, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

As a new mother, I found my purpose in life by pursuing my passion for creativity and entrepreneurship, while also putting my family first. Despite the challenges, I had faith and worked hard to build a successful business that brings positivity and inspiration to others.

Transforming my passion into a beacon of hope and inspiration, I created KAMKAI, named after my beloved boys, to spread light in a world often clouded by darkness. With unwavering faith and determination, I turned my vision into a reality, officially registering KAMKAI as an LLC. and embarking on a journey of empowerment and growth.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I am Ashley, a 37-year-old wife and stay-at-home mom to twin boys. My husband and I struggled with infertility for years. We were fortunate enough to become a finalist on a local radio station contest “Mojo Gives You A Baby.” We didn’t win, but we were connected with one of the best IVF doctors here in our state of Michigan, Dr. Shamma. By the grace of God and a little bit of science, we were blessed with our beautiful, healthy boys Kameron and Kai.

My past may have been imperfect, I have had many struggles as a child and teenager but it has made me the strong, resilient woman I am today. I use my passion for kindness, faith, and recovery to create customized clothing that inspires others to overcome their struggles and find strength in their stories.

I proudly run my business from the comfort of my own home, in my cozy craft room, while simultaneously nurturing my children. Using only a Cricut Maker, I create unique and personalized pieces with precision and love. Recently, my business has flourished, as I’ve started creating bulk orders for local businesses with their company logos, or I offer the process of creating a logo for them. Each color is carefully weeded, layered, and pressed, with an attention to detail that sets my work apart.

I take great pride in the trust my customers have in me, whether it’s personal or business. My work speaks for itself and I always strive to exceed expectations, even on the tightest deadlines.

I am passionate about empowering people to enjoy high-quality clothing without breaking the bank. I involve customers in designing their entire t-shirt or sweatshirt, and I create it with love. I believe it’s the personal touches and open communication that make all the difference, and my goal is to make them feel special because they make me feel special.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I’m proud of the reputation I’ve built on my back story, work ethic, honesty, and results. Never give up and never stop trying!
