Ashley , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?
I started my business about 3 years ago, when I was newly licensed. At that time, I had been working at a massage franchise for a few months and was feeling like it just wasn’t for me. I had always wanted to start my own business but was hesitant to take the leap due to fear of failure and financial insecurity but I still went for it.
Looking back, I do not wish I had started sooner. It was the perfect time for me.I had the ideas and the drive.I decided to not let fear hold me back from pursuing my dreams. Starting sooner I would not have been open to learn and grow as an entrepreneur. I also believe that it was the perfect time in my life to start my business. Starting later was something I wasn’t willing to do. I had to just go for it. I didn’t want to wonder what could be anymore.
Overall, I believe that starting my business when I did was the right decision for me at that time. I have overcome a lot of my fears and I love what I do as a small business owner. I am grateful for the experiences and lessons that have brought me to where I am today. It’s never too late to pursue your dreams. There will never be a perfect time so I always encourage others to go for it!

My name is Ashley A. Corral I am a licensed massage therapist and the proud owner of Elite Salon ,Spa and Suites LLC. With my experience in the wellness and beauty industry I have honed my skills in massage therapy and bodywork to provide clients with a rejuvenating and relaxing experience.
My journey into the industry began with a passion for helping others feel their best. I recognized the power of touch and its ability to heal and relieve stress. My personal experiences with depression, chronic pain and anxiety led me to pursue a career in massage therapy. After obtaining my license I opened a studio. Elite massage therapy gaining valuable experience and building a loyal clientele.
Driven by inspiration from seeing others and their entrepreneurial spirit, I decided to open Elite Salon Spa and Suites LLC to create a space where clients can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and indulge in pampering treatments.Also to create a space for licensed individuals to work in a safe and clean environment. The salon offers a range of services, including massage therapy, men’s haircuts, color services, facials, body treatments, and more. All tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
I take pride in providing personalized care with our team and giving attention to our clients so we learn what they need.ensuring that they leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to take on the world. I am dedicated to excellence and commitment to client satisfaction at Elite Salon Spa and Suites. I believe that’s what sets us apart from other establishments in the industry in our area. My goal is to continue providing top-notch services and expanding my business to reach more clients in need of relaxation and self-care. Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I believe I have built a loyal following on social media by just being real and relatable. We truly care about our clients and community. Being consistent with your post and engaging with your community is important. I believe it’s what has built our business. We also make an effort to support other small businesses. We love to collaborate on social media.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
What has been most effective for us is showing our clients care and compassion. We encourage them while they are with us to take care of themselves. We give them the best experience we can, and they have shared their experience at Elite with their friends and family. You can’t beat word of mouth. A true and honest review is worth more than gold when you are a small business owner. Also being open to learning where you can improve when clients tell you about their experience. We have the best clients. They are why Elite is so successful.
