Hi Ashley , thanks for joining us today. Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?
I started my business in 2021. I’m glad I started it because it was so many people looking for my services. At the time I didn’t have a leg to stand on but I had the support of family and friends in the medical field and community that. Made sure to put my business name in front people and their family members so they could give me a chance to show what my business was like it wasn’t a easy road but it made me and my business stronger.

Hello Memphis I’m Ashley Brown I’m a CNA ,PCA and phlebotomist I have been in the medical field for over 20 plus years working for different hospitals . By learning so much from working there I wanted to start my own business in home-care and senior care as well. D&A Sitter Service of Memphis was born and the rest is history. My team and I have been serving families for over 3 years. We specialize in helping families who need private care assisted. Day and night 24hr care for their love ones . Some of services include meal prep baths med reminders end of life care etc we believe in providing the best care in the city.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
I definitely would say with building up your business and clientele. The biggest thing is getting out their a marketing your self. Nobody can sell your business but you and put God first in whatever u do making sure you have a strong team that believes in your business and your core values. Never let anyone low ball you and stand on business
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I think what helped me build up my confidence and reputation .In this market Is to staying consistent in my home care field always looking up ways to take care of my clients needs and making sure . I listen to my clients and employees also keeping the lines open from other businesses and their employees as well . Nothing can work without team work
