Alright, Ashley thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Hello Beautiful, I’m Ashley, the CEO of the black owned ANBC and proud mother of 2 that have sensitive skin such as myself. I personally created the brand Ashley Nicole Body Care for those with sensitive skin, people who enjoy using natural remedies, and those that want an everyday glow in their life with non-irritating skin ingredients. I proudly make body and skin care products such as soap bars, body scrubs, body oils, and natural face treatments with all gentle, yet effective natural ingredients. At ANBC, my missions is to provide you products that are harmless, vegan, and cruelty free for all skin conditions and color. Our goal at ANBC is to improve not only the success of black owned business, but to increase the availability of cleaner, affordable, chemical free body care products in the world. Our brand is all about health and purification.

The mission that ANBC has set forth is to: show the importance of purifying your body and soul naturally. We aim to guide individuals along their own healing journey in hopes to help ignite positive body and skin habits through education, advocacy and service.

Ashley Nicole Body Care (ANBC) is a beauty, cosmetic and personal care aiming to promote healing and positive body and skin care techniques. This includes offering products such as bath teas, overnight face masks, scrubs soaps, moisturizing, massage bars and body bars. ANBC provides the guidance to truly allow your melanin to glow naturally .Ashley Boykin is the Founder and CEO of ANBC – a catalyst and creative individual seeking to serve and inspire. Utilizing her past experiences as a foundation for empowerment, Ashley is an advocate for natural body and skin care improving your overall beauty. With a passion for melanated skin tones, she stimulates your daily personal care regimens to embody overall appeal.

We’d really appreciate if you could talk to us about how you figured out the manufacturing process./

I personally created the brand Ashley Nicole Body Care for those with sensitive skin, people who enjoy using natural remedies, and those that want an everyday glow in their life with non-irritating skin ingredients. I do not source any outside vendors everything is made by hand. I launched my business by allowing others to try my products (co-workers ) and asked them to provide me with feedback. In the results of there feedback I was able to see that the products I produced put me on the right track which pushed me forward and placed me were I am today. The lessons iv’e learned about manufacturing a product is that it takes the right ingredients, calculating surfactants, making sure it’s safe for human use and does not include any toxic ingredients.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

The future of ANBC consists of obtaining legitimate funding in order to expand with adding additional products, body and skin care classes, establishing memberships and acquiring a store front. Establishing and building business credit is projected to be the primary source of funding besides current revenue. Investment opportunities through business pitching is an alternative if afforded a legitimate agreement without deceitful stipulations.
