Hi Ashlee, thanks for joining us today. Before we talk about all of your success, let’s start with a story of failure. Can you open up about a time when you’ve failed?

I took a very nontraditional route on my career journey. Scholar up until sophomore year in college. School came easy for me but then I begin to struggle. No longer fitted the success story mold. Average student. Accounting degree but went into Aerospace industry as a Financial Analyst. Figured things out as I went but always had a plan. Went to grad school for M.S. in Finance…struggled again and graduated with M.S. in Global Marketing Mgmt. In short each experience equipped me with skills to become a business owner with a well versed background. Lesson learned – you can take many avenues to get to the same goal. Road not taken – Robert frost. Uncharted path is ok…

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

Quitting my job with no backup plan to pursue balance on professional and personal passion. Always loved helping people. Wanted to find away to get back to that.

How did you build your audience on social media?

I was antisocial media until 2018. I made a conscious decision to join to start building my brand. Not Ashlee the girl I know from school or my friend, but Ashlee the professional. I started being initial about the content I shared. When I started my business I tapped my network for support. Plant the seed and watch it grow. The more people see and hear about you the more intrigued or curious they are. I’m super intentional about being vocal about my profession now. Some times you have to subtly let people know what you do for their perspective to shift.
