We were lucky to catch up with Ashely Franklin recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Ashely thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
Our slogan is … Remarkable Marketing & Ad Solutions where we help you make your MARK on the world, which means that we orchestrate curate and develop so that what you envision comes to light.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
It all started with my vision for a T-shirt brand called Forgive.Co (70×7). I felt like I had received a word from God that my journey was to have a heavy focus on forgiveness. I planned to develop a T-shirt line and needed a website to sell them once I found a printer. I created some mock-ups and decided to move forward with the marketing process. I was also in my final years of school studying public relations, and it all felt so natural to me because of my love for creativity. This led to building a website for the lady who printed my T-shirts, and eventually to me creating my own website. This journey led to me being asked to join two organizations led by friends. I am currently the marketing chair for Columbus urban league Young Professionals, a role I’ve held for two years and counting .Additionally, I walked into a marketing consultant position with Dress for Success Columbus, which was a truly phenomenal experience, even though my marketing experience was fairly new. Now, I am the owner of Remarkable Marketing and Advertising Solutions. I specialize in design, strategy development consulting, storyboards, and more, with a keen interest in developing commercials. Ideally, I’d love to network and connect in more of a PR role. I am truly excited about this journey and cannot wait to see what comes of it.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
My greatest story of resilience today would be my journey to getting my college degree. I attended Alabama State University, initially fresh out of high school, and throughout the years, attended a few other schools in pursuit of my degree in public relations after 10 years, three babies becoming a single mom, layoffs job loss buying a home I was able to obtain my public relations degree from Franklin university.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
The pivot always is a part of the process you have to expect the pivot had I known this I would have survived 2022 a bit differently. I quit my job that I worked at for nine years to take an opportunity as a marketing CFO with no experience, thinking that it was the right thing to do. It landed me back at the job that I worked for nine years and a lot of stress, but the pivot worked out perfectly because I am in the space where I am comfortable and able to rebuild and gain experience and knowledge .
