Hi Ashanti and Ashanta, thanks for joining us today. The first dollar you earn is always exciting – it’s like the start of a new chapter and so we’d love to hear about the first time you sold or generated revenue from your creative work?

Hello our name is Ashanti and Ashanta Burt we are identical twins sisters who go by the name Jusfabsistas aka Jusfabtwins. We are literally a walking brand as a whole for encouragement, women empowerment and self healing development. We have reach millions of people with our encouraging videos dancing and so much more. Inspiring is something we feel is our life purpose so we just use it through our social media platforms to reach people around the world.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Lately our main goal is to reach the audience who have a history of things not going so well in the past but also making the best out of it no matter what the circumstances was looking like at the moment. Then our important mission is to inspire our next generation and give them hope and a future by just show casting our journey through social Media.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

We grew up with a rough childhood to say the least. We went through a lot of challenges and experiences while growing up. One of the hardest things was losing a sibling at the age of twelve by gun violence then right after to moving around a lot with not sure if we were going to be sleeping in a car hotel or outside. All between the ages twelve to eighteen. With all that going on we always still seem to have that hope and encouragement to know things will get better so we kept going.
