We recently connected with ARYIA and have shared our conversation below.
ARYIA, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
I have been learning for a long time now, and as a DJ/producer it has been a long way to be were i am today. at first i started as a DJ when i was 13 years old because of my passion for music, i learned some things by looking at youtube tutorials and since then every time i try to be better than before. after some years i started learning how to make music with youtube videos and i also took some lessons from artists that i really respect. the best advice that i keep listening and doing is to be in the studio as long as i can, and that i think is what have made me learn the most.
I think that speeding the process and the obstacles in the way of learning more have something in common and for me is overthinking, when you are in the creative process you should flow and don’t let anything go in the way. i was overthinking a lot of things that maybe took me down sometimes and didn’t let me keep going for a while. but at the end i think is a part of the process and also another lesson that i learned.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Hi guys! my name is Samy known as ARYIA. I was born in Venezuela but i live in madrid, Spain.
since i was a kid i had a big passion for music, i started as a dj when i was 13 years old and some years later i started to learn how to make music. i have a big passion for house music (minimal and microhouse) and with my aka ARYIA i have been making music for almost 2 years now.
last year i started releasing music and had 2 EP’s released. One of them on an Argentinian label called Ladeep and some months later with a Venezuelan label called Eli.waxx. in those 2 releases i had the support of some well known artists of the scene this days and i also had a couple of tracks in the top 100 charts of beatport.
this year i have been focused on making new music and soon they will be release in some nice record labels! which i hope you enjoy
As a DJ i have played in different places like Venezuela, Spain, Israel and Aruba.
my mission is to express myself and let people know me by my music, for me thats the best way to express myself and i would really love to see people get inspired by it.
How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
for me the best way to support artists like me is to go to their events, buy their music or simply share their social media posts. its something that is quick and easy and helps us more than people think.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
i feel that NFTs are an amazing source for artists. i don’t know a lot about it yet but im always trying to learn more about it. i have seen some artists that i really like that are releasing music and also different packages via NFTs, and i think that is amazing because it gives an exclusivity to it that the people that are able to have will enjoy.
