We were lucky to catch up with Aryana Romero recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Aryana, thanks for joining us today. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
What makes me different in the beauty health and wellness industry is my holistic approach that focuses on the connection between the mind body and soul. Unlike traditional beauty or wellness trends that focus on external appearance or quick results, I preach that we must learn to feel beautiful with ourselves internally before we do externally. My approach encourages women & men to listen to their inner selves, communicate with the higher forces, and embrace herbal practices that nourish the body at a cellular level.
I emphasize the importance of alkaline foods that resonate with the body’s natural genetic structure. Because, beauty isn’t about conforming to a standard or fixing flaws, but really about embracing and enhancing your natural face and body with taking care of yourself spiritually & your body physically. In the process of this, you learn to cultivate an internal confidence, and inner understanding of self.
Why it matters: This approach benefits individuals by helping them heal and align their mind, body, and soul. In a world where beauty and wellness have become largely physical experiences—focusing on external appearances or chasing trends—my approach helps people reconnect with their true selves. Instead of covering up insecurities or pain, I hope to guide people toward inner peace, self-acceptance, and a true sense of wellness. It’s about the journey of self-healing and understanding that wellness is not a goal to reach, but a state to embrace.
A personal reflection: Every day, I learn more about what true peace and blissfulness mean. What I’ve discovered is that beauty, health, and wellness are not external attributes; they’re a natural state of being that emerges when we find harmony within ourselves. This process of healing and self-empowerment transforms not just the body, but the entire being—leading to a deeper, more lasting sense of peace.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am Aryana Romero a holistic beauty, health, and wellness practitioner that focuses on healing the mind, body, and soul. My journey into this industry began from a deep personal calling to reconnect with my inner self and rediscover true peace and wellness. Years ago, I was on a quest to find something that resonated with me beyond what mainstream beauty and wellness could offer. I found the missing piece in the healing practices rooted in ancestral traditions, spirituality, and a commitment to nourishing the body with natural, alkalizing foods. Through this exploration, I realized that true beauty isn’t about conforming to external standards but about embracing one’s natural self and finding inner peace.
This led me to develop a unique, holistic approach to health and wellness, where I want to show people how to not only improve their physical health but also heal and nurture their emotional and spiritual well-being.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson I had to unlearn was the belief that external validation equates to true self-worth. For much of my life, I sought approval from others—whether it was through achieving physical beauty standards or meeting societal expectations of success. I believed that the more I conformed to these standards, the more I would feel validated and whole.
I grew up in a world that placed a lot of emphasis on external appearances, achievements, and “checking off boxes” in terms of what it meant to be successful, healthy, or beautiful. I thought that if I could just meet those standards, I would feel complete. But over time, I began to notice that no matter how much I accomplished or how good I looked on the outside, I still felt an inner void. I felt disconnected from my true self, and the external validation never lasted long enough to make me feel truly fulfilled.
The turning point came when I started exploring spirituality and holistic wellness—learning to connect more deeply with my soul and listening to the voice inside rather than constantly seeking approval from others. Through this process, I unlearned the idea that worth is something external or conditional. Instead, I realized that true self-worth comes from within, from self-love, acceptance, and peace—not from meeting someone else’s expectations or fitting a particular mold.
I’ve learned that true beauty, health, and wellness are not things we can “earn” by fitting into a certain standard. They come from honoring and loving ourselves, embracing our uniqueness, and finding peace with who we are, without the need for external affirmation.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
A pivotal moment in my life came when I realized that my previous career and lifestyle were no longer aligned with my true values and purpose. I had been following a more traditional path for years, focused on achieving success in the way society typically defines it—through external achievements and fitting into conventional molds. But deep down, I started feeling disconnected from something deep inside me. The constant chase for approval, coupled with a lack of fulfillment, left me feeling ungrounded & unhappy .
The shift began when I started paying more attention to my health—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. I became increasingly aware that I needed a deeper, more holistic approach to life. I had always been drawn to natural healing methods and the idea of nurturing the body and soul, but I had never considered fully integrating this into my work or daily life. It was during this period of reflection and healing that I had an epiphany: I could pivot into a life that embraced my true self, one that was grounded in connection with God, and self-love.
The pivot itself wasn’t immediate or easy, but it was necessary. I had to step away from a career that was no longer serving me (a eyelash technician) and create space for a different path. This meant leaving behind comfort zones, facing the fear of the unknown, and embracing something that was, at the time, unconventional for me. I started my YouTube channel to share what I was learning about self discovery and healing with others.
