We were lucky to catch up with Armando Ayala recently and have shared our conversation below.
Armando, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
I learned to make music by just jumping into it and never looking back or thinking wether people would judge me or not. You dont have to be born a star to become one and honestly it just takes a lot of hard work and passion. I took my first steps when i bought my first microphone and just started off making small basic songs. Then later on i started to work on my voice and overall vocal performance because that is a really big thing when you want to become a vocalist. That is something you have to really focus on and take your time with because you cant really speed the process up, its honestly one of the most essential skills to learn. Audio engineering is probably the second most important thing because you have to make sure your vocals are sitting just right and you get that studio quality sound so that your audience can enjoy the experience. Some obstacles i had to face/overcome were just getting the vocals to sit right and also trying to perfect the vocal performance overall. I feel like maybe if i would have had a mentor by my side guiding me through the right and wrong ways of making music it would have made it way easier. But life wont always be so easy so dont look for the easy way out. Like i say “you put the most in, and youll get the most out”.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hey my name is Armando Ayala, AKA Yb Mando/ Mando/ Morebucks. I love making music and ive worked so hard to make a career out of what i love to do. I dont just make music. I also do photography and sometimes will do a bit of film. I work for myself but i also work for people like “balionbeat” and other celebs that ive met up with. What sets me apart from a lot of people in the industry is that im actually a kind and caring person + i really love doing what i do with a passion so i always try and do my best with everything that i do. Im most proud of how much i help people and put in and how far ive came, where im at now is exactly where i planned to be but im still focused on moving forward and accomplishing more with my talent and skills. I would like for my future fans to know that they are never alone. I will always try my best to be there for them and actually accomplish the goals that i have set out because a lot of them involve helping people because thats what im here to do!

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My particular goal or mission is to bring people together and help people live a better life and love themselves. Thats my drive and that what i feel like i stand for in this community
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding thing about being an artist/creative is definitely seeing people happy and come together as they appreciate the art and vibes that come from the positive energy that i spread
