Arlene, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?

I hope my legacy will be that I was a person who left a lasting positive impression on people. I hope that my life can be a testament to the fact that there are still truly beautiful authentic people in the world .

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I am the owner and founder of Arlene Martin Hair care where we provide healthy haircare products for beautiful healthy results. I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 24 years. From styling hair for too high fashion models to customizing wigs for film and tv. . I am most proud of my entire career, it spans over two decades and it’s my career journey that is my greatest achievement.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

I think my pivot was when I had to transition into the film and tv industry. It was very scary for me because of the fear of the unknown. Not knowing what’s next and going from project to project hoping that everything will stay consistent. That was one of the most scariest times because I felt like I was literally on the edge of a cliff and I had to jump.

Any fun sales or marketing stories?

As a business woman, you really don’t understand at first how much work it takes to keep a business thriving. You are literally the heartbeat of the operation especially if you are starting out small. You are work more than a regular nine to five shift. So it’s very important to understand the work ethic of a entrepreneur before getting started with a business.
