Yes, our candles are made with skin safe products. They are not made with any dyes, lead or chemicals. The wax is custom made to give a clean burn and can also be used as a fragrant massage oil.

Hello,

My name is Ari. The owner of Szentz, a premium candle company located in Houston Texas. Szentz become a company in 2019 after a year of research, testing and being constantly told “you should start a business”. Before it started Szentz, I worked as Real Estate leasing agent, and I was always searching for candles, wax melts, etc. to enhance the smell of the property. Of course, Bath and Body Works were my go too but once I got hurt, I wanted candles that not only smelled good but that were beneficial to my health.

I had a lot of free time and resources during my down time to research different candle options that will fit my needs. After months of buying candles and being unhappy, with the product, I decided to make my own candle. I process was not as easy I thought lol. I took me 6-7 months to create the candle I wanted and that I was proud of. I started just making them for my home, family and friends because I wanted to brag about my GREAT candles, but I started getting request for my candles and being told to start selling them.

The name “Szentz” came to me in a dream. after praying, on and over this new business venture I was about to embark on. I started with only 5 candle scents that were named by beautiful niece. I started by doing local pop-up shops to build a name for my company and started promoting that I customize candle scents for special occasions.

I have been through the good, the bad and the ugly with my business but I stayed consistent, authentic, focus, positive, humbled and most importantly, I prayed through the process.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

The most effective strategy I use is trying my best to stay relevant. Posting on social media, collaborating with other business, doing give aways, pop up shops, etc.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

The best source of new clients for my business has been word of mouth. I get a lot of compliments on Szentz shipping turnaround time and customer service.
