A’Rion, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Have you ever had an amazing boss? What did you learn from them? Maybe you can share a story that illustrates the kind of boss they were or maybe you can share your thoughts on what you think made them an awesome person to work for?

The best boss I’d say I ever had is God, when God told me to leave my corporate job and go full time in my business it was literally one of the scariest times in my life spiritually because often times we believe in what we are told to believe and up until that moment I had never heard directly from God but it changed my life forever. Secondly it was scary because there was so much uncertainty but that’s the beautiful part about God and having Faith believe in what you know but also believe in what God has said that you have yet to see.

I am A’Rion Scales owner and founder of Flossie Mae’s Catering a Home based south Florida catering service , fully licensed and insured with a heart and purpose dedicated to serving our mission is always to provide the best a professional chef living in Pompano Beach, Florida. I have extensive experience composing flavorful taste explosive dishes with a fusion of flavors of the caribbean and the south and presenting them in upscale, fine-dining fashion. I specialize in creating modern, creative dishes with only fresh, local ingredients. My cooking style is unique and flavorful, guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds!. Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner for two or a big celebration, I’m ready to help make it extra special. From unique starters to decadent desserts, I have a wide repertoire of recipes to choose from. Born and raised in Broward county this business was built on love and in remembrance of one of the most amazing people in my life my Great grandmother Flossie Mae Foggle when she passed away suddenly in 2016 God birthed a business idea like no other and in memory of our beautiful relationship and friendship along with our fun kitchen moments I felt it would only be right to name my business after the great strong and mighty miss flossie because a lot like her through adversity and triumph over the last 6 1/2 years our business has stood tall as we go to new depths daily we know that as a God built business we can do all things through Christ we strengthen us in Jesus name.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I built my YouTube in less than 20 days with one viral video. I started with 10 subscribers and quickly elevated to 360. I became monetized on both facebook and instagram 30 days later. Consistency,praying, fasting , reading scripture and listening to God’s instructions were my methods of success . There is a huge sense of over saturated niches, hobbies and etc today because instead of following purpose a lot of people are following trends it’s imperative that you allow God to direct less your work be troublesome and in vain.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

As repetitive as it sounds I’d definitely say consistency, and my integrity. You’ll see ups and downs in business just as you do with life ; the question is how do you respond to those up and downs? 6 1/2 years Is enough time to definitely experience a lot and business I’ve revamped and restarted plenty of times but I’ve always made sure to be consistent with quality , food, taste and communication. Every customer gets treated like they’re the best because I not only value my business but I value the support of my customers as well.To have integrity to me means that you hold yourself account; you stand by and stand on certain principles and you are honest not only with yourself but with your business and your customers.Integrity and consistency will keep your business going when money can’t never forget that.

So I feel like above all when it comes to reputation you always wanna be known as consistent and upright.
