We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Aries The Producer. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Aries below.
Aries, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. The first dollar you earn is always exciting – it’s like the start of a new chapter and so we’d love to hear about the first time you sold or generated revenue from your creative work?
After Two Summers of playing around with Fl Studio, a popular betaking program. I finally decided to post my work online. Unknowningly sparking an online business I was able to earn revenue for my work using sites like Beatstars, Airbit, & Youtube. My first client was miles away from my but had stumbled on my page via Airbit.com. My first client was on February 14, 2017. It was only $15 but for someone to admire and enjoy my art enough to invest when I was first starting has took me so far looking back. Now I sell beats starting at $300 a beat. I’ve always wanted to work with all budgets so my online beat store has leases for those with smaller budgets. In 2022 I was able to start my production company In The Cut Ent. & the in person & online sales are up. It brings me happiness to do what I love and build with other creatives.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia but currently located in South Carolina, I would say Aries The Producer is a Music/Record Producer & Creative Director. I started creating about nine years ago at the age of 13. I finally decided to take music serious and turn my passion into a career five years ago. I started my YouTube channel shortly the same year and grew my brand worldwide. In 2017 colliding with the top studio in South Carolina “Glowstreet studios”, I became the main producer for Glowstreet LLC. I’ve been able to work with artists and formulate their sound and produce their music to an industry quality sound. I think my work ethic sets me apart but there’s always room to improve. I want potential clients to know that there are producers that are willing to be a canvas to your ideas and help your vision become reality. I think my brand has been displaying that along with my team. Everyone can’t be the main guy you need some really good role players in the cut.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Yes I want to eventually own a huge multimedia company that inspires culture and gives a platform for all creatives even outside of music. Thats the main mission for In The Cut Entertainment, Im a firm believer we can get there.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
The only thing I could say is being a creative gets lonely as you try to make your dreams reality you can get burnt out, tired, depressed but the work becomes a driving force to keep you going. Creatives are like mad scientists no matter the field or art. Finding solid people that love you will always ground you and watching your surroundings help a lot.
