Aries, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you tell us about a time that your work has been misunderstood? Why do you think it happened and did any interesting insights emerge from the experience?
In my profession as a medium, being frequently misunderstood is both a challenge and an opportunity for growth. People often hold misconceptions about mediums, assuming that we are solely fortune-tellers or charlatans. However, the reality is quite different.
As a medium, I possess the unique ability to connect with the spiritual realm and communicate with departed loved ones. This extraordinary gift often leads to misconceptions and skepticism from those who do not fully understand it.
One of the primary challenges I face is the skepticism and doubt that some people have about the authenticity of mediumship. Many believe that mediums are either charlatans or deluding themselves. This skepticism can be disheartening, as it undermines the genuine intent and healing potential of my work.
Furthermore, the media and popular culture often portray mediums in a sensationalized or exaggerated manner, perpetuating misunderstandings about what we do. This makes it challenging to convey the true essence of mediumship, which is about providing comfort, closure, and guidance to those who seek it.
However, this experience of being misunderstood also presents an opportunity for personal and professional growth. It motivates me to educate people about the real purpose of mediumship. I have witnessed the profound impact that connecting with departed loved ones can have on individuals. It brings closure, eases grief, and provides a sense of continuity that can be immensely healing.
Being misunderstood encourages me to continually refine and develop my abilities. It pushes me to be more compassionate, patient, and empathetic in my interactions with skeptics and seekers alike. It reinforces my commitment to ethical and sincere mediumship practices.
In conclusion, being misunderstood as a medium is an integral aspect of this profession. It demands resilience, empathy, and a profound commitment to assisting others in finding peace and closure. While facing skepticism and misconceptions can be disheartening, the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives remains the driving force behind my dedication to this work. I continually strive to educate and enlighten others about the authentic nature of my abilities and their potential for healing and empowerment.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
As a medium, my journey has been filled with moments of profound connection, but it has also been marked by challenges that tested my resilience. One particular experience stands out, a moment when my determination and belief in my abilities were put to the ultimate test.
I was invited to participate in a high-profile event, a gathering of skeptics and believers alike, eager to witness a demonstration of mediumship. The pressure was immense, and the audience’s skepticism was palpable. As I stepped onto the stage, I could feel the weight of their doubts, their raised eyebrows, and their folded arms.
I began my demonstration, attempting to connect with departed loved ones in the room. However, the energy was heavy, and the connections were not as clear as I had hoped. The room remained silent, and I could sense the skepticism growing.
In that moment, doubt crept into my own mind. I questioned my abilities and whether I was truly making a difference in people’s lives. But I knew that resilience meant pushing through doubt and continuing to believe in the power of my gift.
I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and focused my energy once more. This time, I connected with a spirit who had a message of love and comfort for someone in the audience. I described the departed loved one in detail, shared their words, and conveyed the message of reassurance.
The room’s energy shifted. Skepticism began to wane, replaced by a sense of awe and wonder. The recipient of the message was moved to tears, confirming the accuracy and significance of the connection.
This experience taught me that resilience in my profession is not just about having unwavering faith in my abilities but also about pushing through moments of doubt and skepticism. It’s about remaining steadfast in my commitment to bring comfort and closure to those in need, even when faced with challenges.
Resilience as a medium means believing in the power of connection, trusting in the messages I receive, and continuing to serve as a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms, no matter the circumstances. It’s about understanding that doubt and skepticism are natural, but they can be transformed into moments of profound belief and healing. This story reminds me that in the face of adversity, resilience is the key to unlocking the true potential of my gift and making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Balancing my roles as a medium, a full-time mom who homeschools, a wife, and a spiritual community educator has been both rewarding and challenging. One of the most significant pivots in my life came when I had to navigate a delicate balance between my family responsibilities and my career as a medium.
It was during a time when I was receiving an increasing number of requests for readings and workshops from my spiritual community. The demand for my services was growing, and I felt the pressure to expand my business. However, this expansion would require more of my time and energy, which I had been dedicating to homeschooling my children and being present for my family.
One evening, I had a heartfelt conversation with my husband about the situation. We both agreed that while my career was important, our family remained our top priority. It was a pivotal moment when we decided to create a structured schedule that allowed me to pursue my passion as a medium while still being fully present as a mom and a wife.
I began to offer my services in a more limited capacity, focusing on quality over quantity. I also started using technology to connect with my spiritual community and students remotely, reducing the need for extensive travel and time away from home.
This pivot allowed me to strike a harmonious balance between my roles. My children continued to receive the attention they deserved, I could support my husband’s goals as well, and I continued to nurture my spiritual community. It wasn’t always easy, but it was a pivotal moment of growth and adaptation in my career as a medium and my life as a wife and mom.
Through this experience, I learned the importance of setting boundaries, prioritizing family, and finding innovative ways to continue my spiritual work without compromising the quality of my personal life. It was a valuable lesson in juggling multiple roles and responsibilities while staying true to my passion and commitment to both my family and the #ramnation spiritual community.
