We were lucky to catch up with Ariel Vargas recently and have shared our conversation below.

Ariel , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

Aryce Designs was created for my son and I. Aryce means Ariel and Bryce, who B is my teenager. I had him at a young age so he has grown up with me. Creating special moments for others is a very intimate and unique thing. Memories last a lifetime and sometimes if you miss it, you can’t go back and fix it. We strive to make the best memories and create them for many families and businesses for clients and guest who are able to experience a service provided by us.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I learned the love for Tablescapes when I was working at my last corporate job. We would have quarterly lunch’s and I would rush to get there earlier so I could set the table for the managers to enjoy while dining out. I was encouraged by my colleagues to scape for a living so this is where it all started. Fun fact though, Aryce Designs has been filed back in 2010 after having my son. It was registered as an Interior Design Company. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in ID but it wasn’t fully my passion after 2010. So when I found the love for table settings, I went to refile Aryce Designs again and registered it under Event Planning. The most unique thing about us is that we offer services like everyone else, however, we freestyle every single event for all of our clients. This is what makes us very unique and different. Everyone gets their own custom table setting, even if it’s a theme we have done before, nothing is ever the same for all clients.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?

I am so thankful for social media! All of my clients are on social media which makes it ten times better to stay in touch and see how they are doing each and every year. I love being able to see their daily lives and also getting to know them on a personal level, it helps maintain a close relationship with not only them but with their families too!

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

Never ever depend on anyone but yourself for your own business. I relied on someone to help me start my brand by allowing him to do everything up front. When I ventured off to do it myself, I was so lost, I felt like I didn’t have much control over my own business. But now, I have grown it and worked so hard to where it’s getting to where it needs to be. It honestly have been a tough 4 years for sure!
