The idea for Personal Assistant Star came from my own experiences as an executive. I realized that in order to be successful and continue growing in my career, I needed support to manage the day-to-day tasks that were taking up too much of my time. As I connected with other entrepreneurs and business owners, I noticed they had the same needs. They were struggling to balance the demands of running their businesses while trying to focus on growth and strategy.

This realization inspired me to create Personal Assistant Star—a service that provides the help business owners and executives need to get things done without sacrificing their time or focus on what matters most. I knew it was a worthwhile endeavor because I had firsthand experience with the problem I wanted to solve. I was excited to offer something that wasn’t just about outsourcing tasks but about truly supporting businesses in a personalized way that adapts to their specific needs.

I am Ariel Reyes, Founder & CEO of Personal Assistant Star. My journey into the virtual assistant and outsourcing industry started with a passion for helping businesses streamline their operations. This inspired me to build a business that supports them by offering a wide range of services, from email management and scheduling to bookkeeping and client follow-ups.

Many potential clients were unsure about trusting a small, relatively new business with critical operations. Instead of being discouraged, I doubled down on proving our value. I implemented client feedback quickly, built strong communication systems, and made sure every client felt like they were our top priority. This persistence paid off, as word-of-mouth referrals started coming in, and our reputation for being dependable and highly personalized grew. It taught me that resilience in business is about staying committed to your vision, even when the odds seem against you.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

Attending business networking events and fostering real relationships with other business owners has been invaluable.
