Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Aryy. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Aryy, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you wish you had started sooner?
When I was 17 I sent to the University because I thought I had to, because that’s how my family and my school prepared me to be, but I wish that I had just focused on doing what I want and started following a music career seriously back then

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I grew up in a small town in Brazil and my dad used to be a guitarist in a country band when I was really little, so I was always somewhat in the music world. I loved it, my dad was always listening to all kinds of music at home, especially rock and The Beatles. After my dad left the band and changed careers completely, I was still fascinated with music, but it took me years until I started actually making it.
I started Guitar lessons when I was 14 and opened a Youtube Channel right away where I shared covers and original songs I was writing back then.
Back in 2010, being a content creator wasn’t really a career yet, and so I went to college and graduated in Dentistry with a Master’s Degree in Endodontics. I thought I had to have a so called “real career”, but after that was done, I couldn’t see myself leaving music behind and so I moved to the USA to pursue my music dreams and finally started releasing my own music in 2020.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
I think there’s a common misconception that “Creatives are free-souls and don’t care for stability”. We do, we crave stability, financial stability. emotional stability. We pursue a creative career because we don’t have another choice, it’s not worth living without pursuing this strong calling we feel, and although we chose this life, it doesn’t make it less hard when we’re struggling with the lifestyle this career brings.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I started posting online when I was 14 and never stopped, that’s 15 years ago now. My advice is to just do it. I know there’s a lot of competition now, I know it’s hard. It’s hard for me too to stay motivated and I’m not always motivated, trust me.
You just have to let go of the need for perfection and just start sharing.
