We recently connected with Ariel Jordan and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Ariel, thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

The mission of Lololashedit Company is to help women focus on their lash health. Showing up everyday and educating women on the importance of how you should properly take care of your natural lashes while wearing lash extensions. Why this mission is so meaningful is because as a professional lash artist who has been in the industry for two years. I constantly see women struggling with the same issue. Their lashes are always thin/sparse and they’re trying to cover it up with lash extensions. So I found it beneficial to formulate a lash serum that will help women grow their natural lashes in as little as 4-6 weeks.

Ariel, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Ariel Jordan owner of Lololashedit Company, I started my journey of entrepreneurship in 2018 and I was doing side hustles until I could figure out my true passion. When I graduated college in may 2018 I wanted to immediately start doing lashes but I never took the class. I actually ended up starting another business. But I felt like I wasn’t walking in my purpose. Then in 2021 I saw an ad for a beginner lash training. I said to myself “this is my time to join the lash industry I’m going to give it a try”. After I took my training I immediately begin to practice my craft. I recorded my journey with each client I took along with me. I started noticing how well my lashes started to look over time and my clients left so many good reviews and I fell deeper in love with the industry and my craft. I wanted to focus on helping women grow their natural lashes and educate them about the importance of taking care of their natural lashes. So I decided to add my first product line called the “Grow me lash serum” This lash serum is formulated with all natural ingredients to help women grow their natural lashes in 4-6 weeks without causing irritation and side effects. Additionally, What I’m most proud of in my business is my ability to keep getting up everyday and showcasing my brand and all that I do, and most importantly impacting women while doing so. Sometimes I wanted to give up, I think that is completely normal when it comes to running a business. Additionally I’m also most proud of all the women I’ve helped feel and look beautiful.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

Funding can be tedious to obtain especially when you’re a new business. When I first started my lash company my husband helped me tremendously. He was my funding source and I also used my 9-5 salary to help as well. But along the way of me venturing into other things with in my business such as marketing, product build outs, and professional photoshoots. More money needed to be put up forward for me to produce these things. During year two of my business, I then decided it was time for me to secure my first line of business credit.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

What helped me build my reputation is by staying consistent and continuously showcasing my brand everyday on different platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. Also making sure my brand is consistent on every platform, when potential clients and customers view my business page they will automatically know its “Lololashedit”
